At Crimson Lights, Heather informed Adam that she got some new information on Frank Ellis, unaware that he was the forger whom Adam and Jack had hired to write Victor's diaries. After she left, a panicked Adam called Jack and warned him that they had a problem.
Also at the coffeehouse, Jana and Kevin explained to Lauren and Michael why they couldn't attend Katherine's funeral. After, Kevin questioned Heather about who'd get money of Kay's that wasn't in the will. He was intrigued when she noted that if the money was in cash and no one knew about it, it was "finders keepers." Kevin later pocketed a large wad of cash.
At Kay's packed service, Amber informed Daniel that Phyllis wanted to call a truce. Also present at the funeral was Nina, Dina, Traci and Liz. Everyone was shocked, especially Nikki, when Victor arrived. "Well, this should be interesting," declared Brad. Jill held back tears as Kay's son Brock gave a moving speech. "Katherine Chancellor never shirked from her responsibility to give back to her community," he stated. "And all the gifts that she received over her lifetime, not once, never did she ever take them for granted. She's such a classy lady. I'm gonna miss her terribly. She was an angel on earth. Now she's an angel in heaven." Liz then made a speech: "Katherine was a very rich woman. Not because she had a lot of money, but because her life was full of love." Next Billy and Cane said some words, as well as Esther and Amber. "It's hard for me, making friends. I am pushy and I'm loud and I pretty much wear my heart on my sleeve," Amber said. "But
from the moment I met her, Mrs. C. accepted me, just the way I am." Finally, Jill spoke. "God knows, given our history, Katherine wanted to kill me many, many times," she said. "Ain't it the truth?" Nina whispered. "But despite our differences, she loved me," Jill continued. "And I loved her. We had a funny way of showing it sometimes, but we loved each other and, where I made my mistake was thinking that she'd always be there and I could apologize to her later for misjudging her at times and then, now, not being there for her when she needed me."
During the funeral, the camera panned around the room and everyone's thoughts were heard: Nikki thanked God for bringing Victor home safely and prayed that God would help her deal with her heartbreak.... Sharon wished she could ask the late Kay for advice on how to handle her failing marriage to Jack.... Neil asked Drucilla to watch over Kay.... Jack was furious at Victor returning and asked God for help in dealing with him.... Ashley prayed for Victor to get the strength he needed to deal with his life.... Gloria asked John to take care of Kay..... Lauren regretted not getting a chance to say good-bye.... Dina thought that Genoa City was turning out to be much more interesting than Europe.... Victor vowed to get revenge on those who'd wronged him. Later, Devon and Ana sang "Amazing Grace" as everyone placed flowers on the coffin. Jack did a double take as he spied Ashley holding Victor's hand. Nikki broke down and Paul comforted her.... After the funeral, Victor disappeared. Again.
Murphy found an unconscious Marge — really Kay — by a river bank. Kay soon awakened and asked who Murphy was. Murphy wanted to take her to a hospital, but she freaked out and refused. "I want to go home," she insisted. Murphy helped her back to his house. "This is not my home," Kay told him.

At Katherine's funeral, Jack left a message for Ashley, insisting she get back to him. Dina, Traci, Sharon and Jack then discussed how Ashley had arrived with Victor; Jack was disgusted to see his sister with Newman. Meanwhile, Nikki, Paul, Victoria, Phyllis and Nick also talked about the pair. Phyllis assumed that Ash got through to Victor, but Victoria was disappointed that her father suddenly left without saying anything to them. They tried to keep Nikki calm, to no avail. Paul took her aside and asked why she'd gone to Ashley for help. Nikki explained that she believed Ash
would be the only person who could get through to Victor, "And now it's killing me that I was right," she admitted.
Meanwhile, at the Newman Ranch, Victor thanked Ashley for bringing him back to the "world of the living." He then spoke with one of his former staff members and asked her to tell the rest of the staff to return to work. Victoria and J.T. later searched for Victor and found him at the ranch; Vicky and her dad shared a happy reunion. Victoria warned him that the police were looking for him. She then apologized to him for being so against his marriage to Sabrina and said she understood why he'd pushed her away. "It's alright now," he replied, tenderly stroking her cheek. He assured her that she was forgiven and was anxious to put the past behind them.
Gina arranged a post-funeral luncheon for the attendees. Everyone told Brock what a wonderful speech he'd made. Amber and Daniel enjoyed hearing the stories about Kay from when she was young. Jill admitted that her mother's death doesn't feel real. "She's in a better place," Brock assured her.... During the luncheon, Lily was thrilled to learn that Karen and Neil were engaged.... Brock introduced Cane and Chloe to Nina. Nina noted that Cane
was Jill's "real son," but Cane insisted that the late Phillip III had been as much Jill's son as he is.... Kevin and Jana arrived at the luncheon. Amber suspected that they hadn't attended the funeral because Kevin was guilty about something related to Kay.... Lauren and Sharon clashed when Sharon blamed Eden for Noah's rebellious behavior.... Dina explained that she'd rerouted her flight to a certain place to be at the service. She then said farewell to Jack and Traci and headed out.
Daniel, Amber, Danny, Nina and Jill spent some time chatting. Amber boasted about Daniel's budding art career. Nina revealed that Phillip IV is fighting in Iraq.... Lauren apologized to Traci for how she'd treated her when they were kids. Traci replied that Katherine would be proud of Lauren.
Noah gave Eden her mom's necklace.... Sharon vented to Nick about her confrontation with Lauren. Nick was confident that they could work something out with the Baldwins.
In Murphy's home, a confused Kay (whom Murphy still believed was Marge) tried to relax as he fixed her a cup of coffee. Upon hearing Murphy call her "Marge," Kay came to believe that this was her name. Murphy promised to take care of her.
Kay's lawyer informed the group that the reading of her will would take place the next day. Esther was saddened by this because it made Kay's death feel so final.... Jack was furious with Gloria and Jeffrey for not getting Katherine's Jabot stock before she died.... Glo was shocked to learn that Kay had put her in her will.
Brad informed Heather and Adam that Victor was back in town. Heather immediately began making calls and got the authorities after him.... Michael stopped by the ranch and welcomed Victor home. He warned Newman that the charges against him were serious, but Victor insisted that they were bogus. He rehired Michael as his lawyer.... Heather was annoyed with Paul for not
telling her that he saw Victor at the funeral.... Victor informed Victoria that he never wrote in a diary. "I knew it," she stated. J.T. explained that Adam allegedly found it at the ranch.... Nick offered to take Nikki home, but she didn't want to return to the ranch with Victor there. Paul suggested he get her a room at the GCAC.... Michael arranged to have a forensics team examine the diary to prove that it wasn't Victor's. Just then, Heather and the authorities arrived at the Ranch. "I've been expecting you," said Victor.

After Kay's funeral, Nikki couldn't get over Victor being back in town — with Ashley. At the Newman Ranch, Heather arrived to arrest Victor for murder. Michael was confident that he could clear Victor's name.
Jack and Sharon returned home from the funeral together. Sharon joined Noah in the Abbott manse, while Jack took a call from Adam, who was frantic over Victor's return. Jack assured Adam that Victor couldn't prove that they were behind the forged diary, and suggested that Adam play it cool. After, Adam taunted Nick about Victor's arrest. Nick punched his bro.
At the GCAC, Traci caught up with Brad. Brad admitted that he was surprised to not be made CEO of Jabot. Traci suggested he find something to be passionate about. She then quizzed him about his love life and he confessed that that wasn't going so well, either. He was glad that Traci was happy with Steve; she was confident that Brad would also find the right person. He explained that there had been one woman in his life, but he let her getaway. Phyllis eavesdropped as they spoke and realized that the "one woman"
Brad spoke of was Sharon. After, Phyllis made some calls in Mexico and learned that Jack was there when he'd claimed to be in New York with Ashley.
Noah was upset when Sharon told him he couldn't spend time with Eden. Jack supported her decision and declared her an excellent mother. Later, Noah and Jack had a heart-to-heart about dating. Jack explained that the reason why Sharon was so wary of Eden was because they went from never hanging out to getting arrested together. After, Sharon told Jack that he's a great father and they shared a slow dance.... Michael assured Eden that she could stay
with him and Lauren if River didn't get out of jail.
At the police station, Heather questioned Victor about Walter's murder. Victor denied killing him and reminded her that she was wrong about thinking he killed Ji Min.... Paul promised Nikki that he'd find out who really killed Walter.... Nick went to the station and shared a pleasant reunion with Victor. Upon seeing Nick's injured hand, he realized that Nick had punched Adam on his behalf.... Heather and Paul clashed over Victor's case; she vowed to prove Newman was a murderer.... Phyllis was determined to help Nick get his father out of jail.
Ashley and Nikki ran into each other the GCAC and Nikki questioned Ash about Victor's state of mind. Ashley replied that Victor was doing better — and that it was all because of Nikki's love for him.
At Crimson Lights, Adam chatted with Michael. Adam revealed that he was planning to go to leave the continent since he couldn't find a job in town. Michael replied that no matter what, Adam was going to have to face Victor. Later, Adam visited Victor is jail. Vic told him that Hope would turn over in her grave if she knew Adam was like. Adam blamed Victor for turning on him and ruining his life. "Everyone is dead to you now. You're gonna spend the rest of your life in prison," Adam warned. "I'm gonna crush you like a cockroach," Victor replied.

A jittery Gloria geared up for the reading of Katherine's will.... Jill,
Cane and Nikki also prepared for it.
At Murphy's place, Murphy promised "Marge" (really Kay) that he'd take care of her. He thought she was joking when she asked what his name is, then recalled briefly visiting Marge in Murphy's trailer. Murphy explained that he's trying to keep her off alcohol and suggested she dry out there. He then read a newspaper article about Victor being arrested and she wondered why Newman's name sounded so familiar. Murphy noticed her sparkling ring and
wondered where she got it. Later, Murphy mentioned that "Marge" worked at the diner and was alarmed when she didn't remember that. She freaked out when he wanted to take her to the hospital, noting that "everyone" wanted to take her to one. Murphy asked who this "everyone" was. He then handed her her uniform and nametag, but Kay was disappointed to be "just" a waitress. Murphy pointed out that even rich people, like Victor, have problems. Kay was frustrated that she couldn't recall her life.
Ghost John paid Billy a visit and asked if he was prepared to hurt those he loves by pitting Jack against Jill in the Jabot battle. "I thought I was. Now I'm not so sure," Billy replied, but then insisted that he knows what he is doing.... Meanwhile, Jack reamed out Ashley for returning home with Victor, of all people. Ash told him to butt out; Traci tried to end their conversation, as well. When Jack wouldn't let the matter drop, Ashley threatened to leave. Billy joined them and was pleased to smell a particular breakfast item. He later left to attend Kay's will reading. Jack and his sisters raised a toast to their father. Jack then toasted to his sisters. Traci was surprised to suddenly get a visit from Ghost Dad and admitted to
him that being home is overwhelming. John told her that he's glad she left Genoa City because she blossomed in New York. Traci came back to reality and stated that their dad would be proud of all of them. Ashley looked doubtful.... Ashley was then visited by John, who expressed his concerns over her being with Victor. Ashley wondered whether she should follow her head or heart. "Be prepared to drown with him," John warned, reminding her that she now had a child to think about. "Do what's best for you, my love,"
he advised. Later, John visited Jack, who admitted to his dad that things weren't going so well with Sharon. John pointed out that Jack is obsessed with winning and warned him not to destroy the good things he already has. Traci soon left to return to New York. Before Ashley headed out with her, Jack reminded her that no matter what happened with her and "The Mustache," he'd always be there for her.
At the reading of the will, Amber and Daniel asked Esther if she knows where she'll live. Esther couldn't imagine living without Katherine.... Billy arrived and asked Brock for an absentee Mackenzie's contact information at the relief agency.... Jeffrey and Gloria (donning movie star-like sunglasses!) arrived, anxious for it to begin.... Brock received one percent of her estate in trust and was named chairman of the Chancellor foundation.... Danny, Gina, Cane and Billy received money.... Esther received Kay's 50 percent ownership of the Chancellor Estate. Esther was so shocked she almost passed out.... A horrified Jill was ready to contest the will,
but the lawyer warned that it would be difficult to do.... The reading continued and Nikki was left Kay's jewelry, including the ring Kay was given by her mother.... Amber was given the rights to Kay's memoirs. This infuriated Jill.... Jill received the remainder of the estate.... Gloria was given a vase that had been a gift from John, along with her five percent of the Jabot stocks that Glo had so desperately been trying to get her hands on. Gloria was overjoyed and ready for the Jabot takeover. Jill accused Gloria of tricking Kay, but Gloria disagreed. "Katherine liked me," she said. "She really, really liked me."
Gloria and Jeff returned to the Abbott manse and gleefully informed him about getting Kay's Jabot stock..... Jill warned Amber not to publish the memoirs, but Amber was determined to do it.... Jill and Cane worried about what would happen to Jabot now that Kay had given up her stock. Jill then realized that without Katherine around, she could take control.... Jack was prepared to take over the company, thanks to Gloria.

Jack again urged Ashley to give him her proxy so they could take over Jabot, but she refused.... Meanwhile, Gloria gleefully celebrated the impending company takeover. Jeffrey found it hard to believe that they are working with Jack. Michael then arrived and asked if she is going to recant her testimony against River, but she wouldn't. After, Glo and Jeff asked Jack when they'll start the takeover. Ashley realized that they were Jack's silent partners and was horrified. He encouraged her to help him out in order to honor John. She finally agreed to give him the proxy, but warned him not to screw things up again.
At Crimson Lights, Kevin flashed back to when Katherine forgot her bag with the cash in it. Jana interrupted his thoughts to remind him that it was their three-month anniversary. After she left, Daniel and Amber arrived and filled him in on the reading of Kay's will. Kevin was intrigued that Amber had been left a lot of money. Amber didn't think that Kevin respected Kay's death and suspected that Kevin had Kay's dough. Glo then arrived and told Kevin about getting Kay's stock. She thanked Kevin for his help, while Amber
looked on. Amber shared her suspicions with Daniel, but Daniel didn't think Kevin did anything to Katherine.
Also at the coffeehouse, Billy, Chloe and Cane mourned Kay. Billy was anxious to get back to "the land of the living." When Cane stepped away, Chloe flirted with Billy. Billy reminded her that she had a good guy in Cane and should cut it out. When Cane returned, Billy left. Chloe planned to go shopping for the baby — including for a particular children's book.
Neil and Karen announced their engagement to the Winters clan. Everyone was thrilled. Later, Lily went to the bookstore with Devon and Roxanne, hoping to meet her Internet beau in person. Lily texted him to meet her in the literature section. Outside, Billy texted back that he'd meet her there. He did and Roxanne recognized him from the Halloween party. After, Billy was annoyed to see Chloe there. They chatted about their past relationship. Billy threatened to tell Cane the truth, but she warned him that if Lily knew, it would destroy any chances he had with her. Later, Lily and Cane ran into each other at the bookstore. Lily told him that she's supposed to be meeting the other guy, but couldn't with Cane present. He left and Billy approached her. "What are you doing here?" Lily asked. A sneaky Billy mused
that the "other guy" disappeared when he spied Lily with Cane.... Karen wanted to include Ana in the bridal party. She suggested that Tyra might find love with Detective Wallace, but Tyra wasn't so sure.
Michael met with River at the prison. River was confident that Gloria would recant her testimony and he'd be freed, but was disappointed when Michael informed him that they couldn't count on her.
Jeff feared that Gloria planned to take over Jabot and leave him out in the cold, but she assured him that they're a team. He reminded her that he held the tainted Jabot cream debacle over her head.... Amber told Jana about Gloria thanking Kevin for helping her with Kay. Meanwhile, Daniel quizzed Kevin about his sudden ability to buy a car. An annoyed Kevin asked Daniel and Amber to "chill out." Later, Jana questioned Kevin about what Gloria had said. Kevin replied that he must've softened up Kay for her. Jana reminded him that she doesn't want money or objects — just him. "I want to give you the world," Kevin smiled.... Daniel told Amber that Kevin denied having money, but Amber still thought that Kevin was hiding something. Kevin later announced that it was his and Jana's anniversary and presented her with a new scooter in front of everyone. Jana was speechless.
Jack and Ashley joined Jeff and Gloria to celebrate the impending takeover. Ash was surprisingly civil toward Gloria. Jack was thrilled over the prospect of the Abbotts being in control of Jabot again.
