In Tabitha's kitchen, a confused Miguel tried to make sense of how he'd been sent to the Dark Side. He recalled Kay and Tabitha shooting lightning bolts out of their hands and accused them of being evil. He then concluded that they're witches. Tabby and Kay argued that he was suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome, but he didn't believe it. Kay wanted to tell him the truth, but Tabitha urged her not to. Miguel then had a flashback of his time in "hell," which basically involved him and Endora sitting in front of a blue screen with flames projected onto it. Finally, Kay gave in and confessed that they're witches. Miguel blamed them for all of the bad things that had happened in Harmony over the years and stormed out. Ouch! Later, Miguel returned and declared his love for Kay. They began kissing and Endora conjured up some fireworks over their heads. Awww!

As she anticipated celebrating New Year's Eve by herself, Esme read a magazine and tried to come up a new hobby. Fancy then revealed that she and Luis reunited. Esme wasn't sure she should trust Luis, but Fancy wanted to believe his explanations for why he'd slept with Pretty and Sheridan. Still, Fancy admitted that she did have some questions about Luis's odd behavior. Esme revealed her plan to date evil people, so the person who's killing her lovers would murder someone worth getting rid of. "Too bad you can't date Sheridan," sighed Fancy. Fancy invited her out, but Esme turned her down. "I don't want to watch the Rose Parade with a dead man in my bed," she sighed. Fancy was about to leave when Alistair arrived and taunted her about Luis sleeping with the other two women. Fancy concluded that Alistair was just jealous of her because he'd never experienced true love. Esme decided to seduce Alistair so she could put her "get the evil guys killed" plan into action.

In the Lopez-Fitzgerald home, Luis, Sheridan and Marty cuddled up in front of the TV like a family. Marty hoped they'd be together forever, and Sheridan assured him they would be. After Marty went to sleep, Sheridan invited Luis to stay, but he turned her down, explaining he had plans with Fancy. Alone, Sheridan blamed Fancy for taking Luis away from her son. Guess "together forever" meant "joined at the hip 24/7" in Sheridan's world. Later, Alistair paid Sheridan a visit and taunted her about being alone for New Year's.... Luis and a tearful Fancy met up at the Blue Note. She admitted how hurt she was that he kept the news of Marty being alive from her. Luis explained that they'd never see Marty if Alistair had heard about it. Fancy misunderstood this to mean that he didn't trust her. He further explained that Sheridan made him keep it secret.

Alistair returned home and found a scantily-clad Esme waiting for him in his room. He eagerly kissed his surprise guest, while she tried not to react with disgust... Sheridan vowed to win Luis back.... At the club, Fancy forgave Luis and they shared a dance. Luis then got a frantic call from Marty and Sheridan, who begged him to come home. After she hung up, Sheridan gloated about getting Luis to leave Fancy for the evening. Fancy sadly rang in the new year alone.

Theresa lamented having so many problems with Ethan. To her surprise, Pilar encouraged her to spend New Year's with Ethan. Theresa hoped they could work things out. Later, she and Ethan met up at the Blue Note. He complained that she's been shutting him out of her life, and she apologized. She pleaded with him to spend the evening with her. He agreed and they shared a romantic dance. Theresa later rushed out when Pilar called to tell her that Little Ethan had a high fever. Ethan wondered why she suddenly ditched him. At home, Pilar informed Theresa that Little E was in fact okay, but that more family members had been killed by Juanita.
