Dorian was elated to see David at La Boulaie and dismissed Ray so she could be alone with her handsome hubby. She claimed to David that nothing's going on between her and Ray, although he is attractive ... and more available to her than David is. David accused her of not supporting his dream, but she didn't think pitching a hemorrhoid cream was the sign of success. He pointed out that she must have feelings for Ray, because otherwise they'd be able to work this out. She didn't necessarily deny it, but observed that the long-distance thing is hard for her. They both lamented that their timing is off, and agreed to end their marriage. Dorian assured David that they'd "always be David and Dorian," and they hugged good-bye. Before taking off, David told Ray to take good care of Dorian. Ray promptly asked her out on a date, which she accepted.

Lola listened from the top of the stairs as Langston and Starr talked about the prom. Starr went to the kitchen, while Lola revealed herself, hinting that Markko's about to be in big trouble. Cole showed up at the diner to warn Markko about what happened with Lola. At La Boulaie, Ray scolded Lola for acting out, while Langston phoned Markko to warn him. Markko knew that Lola already blabbed to Rachel and assured Lang that things are fine because Cole is there right now. Lola apologized to Langston in front of her father but Langston blew her off. At the diner, Langston was thrilled to see Cole and Starr sitting together, but Markko told her not to bother them and that they were talking about something pretty heavy. As it turned out, Cole and Starr were discussing what might have happened to their baby. Markko delighted Langston with two tickets to the prom.

Rachel explained to her mom that a job just opened up at the treatment center and her leave of absence in Chicago is indefinite, so she wants to stay in Llanview and help out her mom any way she can. When Nora learned that Cole is Rachel's patient, she wasn't too happy, but Rachel assured her mom that she's not going to take it easy on Cole. Lola suddenly ran in yelling about how Rachel didn't do anything after she revealed that Cole lied about his drug test. Once Nora heard that, she was livid, reminding Rachel that she has a legal obligation to report anything Cole does to violate his agreement with the court. She left her daughter with a warning.

At the courthouse, Téa asked R.J. help zip up her dress, and he caught on that she was just with Todd. She denied falling for Todd again, and claimed that she's interested in Ray Montez. Todd, meanwhile, headed to the hospital to inform Blair that he's going to use John's arrest to win back his kids. Outside, John grabbed Michael from behind and told him to be quiet. He explained that he broke out of jail and needs his brother's help. Michael got John into a surgical disguise, and Blair was thrilled to see her husband walk into the room after Todd's visit. She wasn't too happy to hear that he was on the lam but understood how important it is for him to find the killer. He gave her a passionate kiss and managed to slip out before Bo could find him.

Todd returned to the courthouse to find Téa looking chummy with R.J. He walked up and linked arms with Téa, noting how it's just like old times. Téa gave R.J. her "private number" for Todd's benefit. Afterward, Todd announced that John escaped from jail, which gives him the leverage he needs to get custody. John, meanwhile, sneaked into his apartment to retrieve his gun, and found a knife sticking out of a photo of Marty.

Antonio went back to the morgue and bid farewell to his lost love, while John unlocked his cell and slipped out of the jail.
