Janet was stunned when Todd ripped open her shirt and took the wire off of her bra. Talia and Antonio sprung from the van outside to Todd's house, and burst into the room where Todd was interrogating Janet.

Langston nearly got in trouble with Mr. J for talking in class (She was remarking on how hot he is just loud enough for Markko to hear it). A hush went over the room as Principal Dickinson entered and grimly announced that drugs are being sold on school property and reminded everyone of the legal ramifications. Later, Mr. J tried to start a discussion about drug abuse then let class out early to let everyone get started on a demanding assignment. Starr hung around afterward and informed Schuyler that she knows someone who's using. She asked his advice on how to help a friend who refuses help. Schuyler explained that she can't make her friend do anything; he has to seek help himself. Outside, Langston tried to get Cole's attention but he walked right past her.

Matthew was at the library showing some kids the pills he took from Cole, who showed up and pulled Matthew aside. Matthew admitted to stealing the pills, and Cole advised Matthew to stop running his mouth about being on drugs. Matthew raised his voice and asked why Cole's taking the pills in the first place, just as the principal approached. She proceeded to question the two and advised Cole to be a role model for Matthew, then told them to get back to their studies. Cole took back the pills and stormed out, then accused Starr of ratting him out. Alone, Schuyler looked at the letter from his mother once again.

Noelle informed Carlotta of Delphina's troublesome prediction about money, just as Dorian was relinquishing all her worldly goods to Moe. David was impressed as she spoke of her quest for inner peace but Moe was speechless. He reminded Dorian that she must give all these things away permanently and watched her closely as she tried to convince Moe of her sincerity. Noelle arrived at La Boulaie and was alarmed to hear that Moe was inheriting the mansion, while David congratulated Dorian on proving herself. To entice Noelle into accepting her wealth, Dorian bedecked Noelle with a sparkly diamond necklace.

Over lunch at the café, Lola told Téa what she remembered about the night her mother died: Her mother and father were having an argument, her father tucked her in and kissed her good-night, but she woke up again, went to their door and saw her father on his knees beside her mother's body. Ray claimed that an intruder came in and stabbed Lola's mother, than ran off, but it wasn't until years later that Vanessa and Lola found the knife used to kill her and Ray was arrested. Speaking of arrests, their conversation was interrupted by a call from Todd, who was in handcuffs and needed his lawyer. Téa rushed to Todd's aid and gave Talia and Antonio a hard time about ambushing Janet on Todd and sent the cops packing without an arrest. Markko found Lola in tears at the diner and asked if there was anything he could do. "Just hold me," she pleaded, and he obliged.

Schuyler finally opened the letter, which contained information about her shady arrangement with Todd.
