At the diner/cafe, Roxy apologized to Charlie for putting him and Viki in a strange position on Christmas. Roxy made Charlie uncomfortable when she told him that Viki's clock was "rocking," but luckily Natalie walked in with Chloe. Roxy declared that her clock was rocking also and that she wanted more grandkids!

Téa looked up from her laptop to find Viki standing over her. Téa tried pleasantries but Viki demanded to know why she would defend Todd. Téa fired back, asking why Todd's own sister wasn't helping him. Viki told Téa that it wasn't simply his actions that angered her, it was the people he committed crimes against. Viki got emotional as she filled Téa in on Todd's crimes against Jessica and Natalie. Téa tried to justify Todd's actions. Téa implored Viki to forgive Todd. As Viki stormed off, Téa told her that Todd tried to kill himself. Téa broke down in tears (were they sincere?) and told Viki the whole story. She told Viki she couldn't help him alone. Viki wanted to leave again, and Téa said she had once loved him. Viki, clearly upset, rushed off.

John asked Cole why he wasn't at school. Cole wanted to know where his mother was. He asked John if he knew. John told Cole he thought Marty had enough of Todd. John assured Cole he was being straight with him and offered him a lift to school. Later, John got some information from a waitress at the Buenos Dias about Marty's whereabouts. John ran into Natalie, Charlie and Roxy. "Hey John, have you met Natalie's baby? HA!" Roxy laughed. Natalie corrected Roxy, rolling her eyes. Roxy then asked John how his night was with Marty — she assumed that the guy Marty went to the hotel with was him! John asked what Roxy saw. Roxy explained that she saw Marty walk in with "some guy." John quickly said goodbye to everyone and rushed out.

Langston and Starr gossiped about high school stuff at Starr's locker. Langston asked Starr how she was feeling. Starr told Langston that Blair made waffles, and whenever she makes waffles there's usually something going on. Starr guessed that it had to do with her father. Cole arrived at school and compared stories with Starr about what might have happened between Todd and Marty last night. The two were really uncomfortable when a student asked if they had a boy or a girl. The girl was happy for Starr and Cole until Starr said the baby died. The girl rushed off. When Cole was alone at his locker, a friend of his came over to offer condolences... and a joint to make all his feelings go away.

Todd was none too pleased to find Blair at his doorstep. She brought muffins, but Todd wasn't too grateful. "Thank you for saving my poor, pathetic life, Blair!" Todd exclaimed. Blair blasted Todd, asking him why he gave so much power to Marty. Blair disagreed with Todd that the children didn't want him in their lives, saying that if he grew up things would be so much easier. After Todd proclaimed his love for Marty again, Blair shouted, "You don't love her, Todd. You don't love her and you never did!" Blair explained that Todd could only love people who don't want him to change. Blair asked Todd if all the people who loved him regardless of all the things he'd done mattered. She went down the list of the problems the kids were having and told him that she told them she was there for them, and that she was there for their father. Blair asked Todd if he remembered how happy they had been a year ago, and how Starr and Cole having sex set something off in him. Blair challenged Todd to be a loving brother and father.

Marty woke up with a start. Images of the night before flashed in her head. When she tried to get up she was dizzy. When a mysterious man walked in the door, she asked "Who the hell are you?" It was Wes, Brody's buddy. Wes filled Marty in on her night - nothing happened between the two, but Marty did tell Wes that her "date" jumped off a roof. Marty asked Wes if ever joined a fraternity. "Do I look like a college boy to you?" he asked. Marty came on to Wes, who didn't reciprocate. He then told Marty he didn't want sex to be a distraction, and told her that he had a lot on his mind. Wes explained that after he came back from Iraq, everyone wanted him to be the same person he was before the war but he couldn't be that person. Wes finished filling Marty in by telling her that she fell asleep while he poured his heart out about his problems, and that he covered her up and let her sleep. Marty apologized for having fallen asleep while talking to him. Wes didn't mind, then offered her a ride wherever she needed to go. He took his shirt off to change so they could leave, just as John knocked on the door.
