Nora informed Antonio and Carlotta that it isn't a mistake that their finances were cut off. She explained that the victims of the Santi family had filed a restitution lawsuit and had previously been too afraid to come forward. She handed him the file and said it would shed some light on the matter. Antonio looked through the file and was shocked to see what the Santis were really capable of. "I never even wanted the Santi money. I hated everything they stood for," lamented Antonio, who worried about how this would affect Cristian and Carlotta ... and Jamie, whose trust fund would now be jeopardized. Nevertheless, he expressed his reluctance to fight the suing families. Talia and Sarah lamented to one another that they wished there was something they could do. Meanwhile, Cristian and Carlotta assured Antonio that they would be fine and would just work extra hard to stay afloat. Antonio declared that he would do anything to keep his job on the police force and to care for his daughter.

Blair checked on a sleeping Starr, who was dreaming of her romantic night with Cole and the subsequent beating that Todd gave him. Downstairs, Todd made some final calls regarding the move to Hawaii and Blair tried once again to dissuade him from moving the family. Starr woke up to find that her phone was dead even though it had been plugged into its charger. Blair continued to try to talk sense into Todd, who explained that what he saw in that bedroom was branded in his psyche. Todd couldn't care less about what he did to Cole and argued that it was totally warranted. Blair refused to let Todd leave the room unless he agreed to let the family stay put. Blair even said he could take his son Sam but she, Jack and Starr wouldn't be going anywhere. She explained that Starr is truly in love for the first time. Todd didn't want to hear it.

At the PD, Ramsey summoned John to his office and asked if John had been in a fight with Todd. John lied that he hadn't, so Ramsey asked why John had been nosing into Ramsey's past. The commish explained that he got tired of being on the go all the time and just wanted to settle somewhere. "I'm an open book," Ramsey declared. Later, Nora arrived at Ramsey's office to hear that the mayor has a real problem with her inability to get a conviction. Nora suspected that this concern was really Ramsey's and not coming from Mayor Lowell. He pointed out that Cole tried to shoot him and she let the kid get away with it. "Miles refused to press charges," Nora reminded him. She left his office peeved by Ramsey's warning.

Markko ran into a still-bruised Cole at the diner and said he knows Todd beat him up. Cole explained that Todd jumped to the conclusion that Starr was raped and that's why he beat up Cole. Nevertheless, Cole was determined to see Starr, who had just found that her landline was dead and that her Internet was down. "What? DAD!" she cried.

Dorian cooked breakfast for Langston, but the teen wasn't hungry. Dorian assured a worried Langston that she did nothing wrong. Langston called Cole and warned him against trying to contact Starr. Cole was about to run out of the diner when John stopped him and made him explain what happened the night before. Meanwhile, Dorian went to see Starr and suggested it might be in her best interest to take a break from Cole. Starr cried about how she needed to talk to Cole right away and claimed that nothing happened the night before. Dorian was relieved to hear that and said Starr was too young to be "physically intimate." Starr was shocked to hear Dorian side with Todd, but Dorian argued that Starr's happiness is her only concern. Meanwhile, Langston went to the diner to see Markko, who was concerned about Langston living in the same house as Todd.

Blair went to Starr's room and told her that she was able to talk Todd out of moving the family to Hawaii. Starr was overjoyed and wanted to tell Cole right away. Jack, however, was disappointed to hear the news and started to cry. Starr thanked Todd for reversing his decision and promised to work things out, "even after everything that happened with Cole." Todd's face practically turned to stone as he said, "Don't ever say that name again." He then explained that they would stay in Llanview on one condition: that she stay away from Cole. He also reminded her that Cole shot Miles and if Cole doesn't steer clear of Starr, Todd will send her boyfriend to prison. Meanwhile, Dorian was thrilled to hear that Blair and the kids were staying in town, but didn't want Todd living in her house. Blair insisted that if Todd goes, she goes, so Dorian agreed to give Todd one more chance.
