Outside Cross Creek, Reva had a panic attack as she came to terms with life without Jeffrey. Josh quickly stepped in to help calm her down and encouraged her to think of baby Colin and promised her that he will help her make it through. She admitted she's overwhelmed by memories of Jeffrey and is having trouble coping. She continued to wonder why someone would take her husband away and asked Josh if she is to blame for what happened. They shared an intense, emotional moment. She assured him that she's not thinking about driving off a bridge. Later, Josh summoned Dr. Colin to come ease Reva's suffering. They shared a bittersweet reunion. Colin hugged Reva and gave his condolences regarding Jeffrey, then he met his namesake, baby Colin, for the first time. Reva pointed out all of little Colin's features that remind her of Jeffrey. Dr. Colin urged her to rest and focus on herself, noting her health history. Then he gave her some sleeping pills.

At Company, Remy questioned Cyrus about the missing diamonds and wondered if he swiped them. Cyrus refused to answer. Later, Daisy told Remy about the anonymous check for college tuition and surmised that it's the same person who bought Buzz a new stove. Remy quickly figured out that Cyrus is likely the Coopers' mysterious benefactor.

The Spaulding men continued to bond on their camping trip. Alan brought up his father, Brandon and explained that he was a tough guy to please because he was angry and unkind. He admitted to James and Phillip that he did hate his father. Phil took advantage of the moment and confronted Alan about their broken relationship, questioning why it took over 40 years for them to make an attempt to bond and have an honest conversation with each other. Alan pointed out that Phil's list of mistakes is just as long. The men bickered about their regrets and troubled past. Alan declared that not all of their family memories are bad but Phil quickly proved him wrong and rattled off a long list of misdeeds. Fed up with the arguing, James drove off and left Phil and Alan stranded at the campsite. Alan tried calling Hilda but couldn't get service to call a car to come pick them up. Phil wasn't too concerned and said he's just going to enjoy the moment and eat some S'mores. In a rare moment of sincerity, Alan told Phillip that he took great lengths to adopt him when he was an infant and always knew that Phil was meant to be his son.

Christina watched Emma for Olivia while she tearfully told Ava the news about Jeffrey. Later, Liv went to go pick up her daughter and Christina could tell that something was wrong. Olivia got emotional telling Christina that Jeffrey died trying to do something good and said she's angry that Edmund is "probably sipping a drink on the beach somewhere in the Riviera."

After Colin left, Reva glanced at a photo of Jeffrey and pondered taking the sleeping pills. When Josh entered, Reva threw the pills at him and said she's still wide awake. She was miffed that he sent Colin over to medicate her and angry that Josh is trying to make decisions for her and using the opportunity to take over her life again. She kicked him out. Josh went to Company where he ran into Olivia. They grabbed a few beers and bonded over their stressful day. Josh said he knows Reva needs her space because she is starting to resent him for not being the one who died. Liv admitted she's still struggling with Nat's departure. Josh assured her that she'll be all right.

Cyrus found Buzz hanging out in the rain near Coop's grave. He admitted he still hasn't figured out what it all means, having people being taken away from the ones they love. Cyrus revealed to Buzz that the books in the package for Coop were for research for a biography Coop was planning to write about Jenna.

Reva tearfully held baby Colin and promised him that they'll survive and keep Jeffrey's memory alive. She lit the lantern and put it back in the window.
