At Cross Creek, Shayne told Reva he'd be happy to spend the Fourth of July with her and Hawk. She urged him to go to the barbecue instead. Meanwhile, at the Bauers, Matt, Rick and Josh complained about not having women in their lives. Blake was forced to return to the grocery store (again) to get more supplies for Rick. Rick then tried to flirt with Olivia, to no avail, and was hit in the head with a Frisbee. Phillip told James he's really glad he decided to show up, then explained to Lillian that he hopes he has enough time to make things right with James and that he wants everyone to remember the happiness of the day. Mallet and Marina arrived with baby Henry. Danny and Michelle congratulated them on becoming parents. Later, Phil played with the kids who were having a water fight. Buzz and Lillian came out from a romp in the bushes.

Natalia lit a prayer candle at the chapel. Father Ray advised her to attend a church retreat to think things over. Later, she saw Blake while sitting on the steps of the chapel. Nat was confused and emotional. She admitted to Blake that she doesn't know what she'd tell Frank or Olivia, so she's decided to leave town. Meanwhile, Liv left her a voice message wondering when she's arriving at the barbecue. Then she phoned Blake for a lead on Liv's whereabouts.

Cyrus picked up Remy, Leah, Christina and Mel to take them to the barbecue. When they arrived, Mel and Cyrus flirted so Rick wouldn't try to put the moves on his ex. Father Ray had a happy reunion with Danny and Michelle. Bill and Lizzie announced the three-legged race. Phillip got James to be his partner in the fun and they laughed together after they fell and lost the race. When Phil started chatting with Daisy, however, James reverted to being a brat and advised his pop to stay away from her. Billy asked Josh why Reva wasn't coming this year. Emma asked Olivia about Nat. "She'll show up," Liv assured her. "She has to." Josh tried to cheer Liv up as the festivities came to an end and told her not to give up on Nat. Rick let Hope, Robbie and Leah sneak bites of apple pie in the Bauer kitchen. Michelle busted them, then told her big bro how nice it is to see everyone again. Danny caught up with Marina. He said it was best to move away because it was the only way he could start over. She told him she's happy and they shared a sweet moment. Meanwhile, Mallet approached Shayne to inform him that he knows the truth about Henry and that he hopes things won't get weird between them. Remy admitted to Shayne that he helped Dinah with Henry's paternity test. Shayne said he's fine with the way things have turned out and has no regrets about his decision regarding Henry.

At Cross Creek, a frustrated Reva grabbed a photo of Jeffrey and threw it out the door. Then she tore down all of her Fourth of July decorations and started to cry. Later, Hawk showed up. Reva said she's not going to the barbecue because she doesn't want any questions about Jeffrey and implored him not to ask any either. Later, Reva got emotional as she and Hawk sang the "Star Spangled Banner."

Rafe saw his mom outside the farmhouse and admitted that he's very uncomfortable seeing her and Olivia together. Nat promised she didn't want to hurt him and they both admitted they're confused about a lot of things these days. She packed her bag and shared a tense, awkward good-bye with Rafe, who apologized for letting her down, but still refused to condone her relationship with Liv.

Blake returned to the barbecue and told Liv that Nat's not coming to the party because she doesn't want to see her right now. She apologized and left without saying another word. Olivia was confused and heartbroken. Rick made a heartfelt toast to his fellow Springfielders and gave a tribute to Bert for founding the annual celebration. He said he feels blessed to have such a wonderful family and even though Bert's not there with them anymore, she's left a great, lasting legacy that no one will forget. Phil gave a quick speech and pointed out how lucky he is to have spent time with everyone and wishes it could last forever. Beth and Mindy also paid tribute. "No matter where life takes it, we'll always call Springfield home." Phil observed the happy scene with tears in his eyes.

Blake picked up Nat and asked her if she's sure about her decision. Olivia, meanwhile, ran to the pond and broke down in tears.

What's Remy's nickname for his sister, Leah?
