Reva tried to keep her normal routine at home in Cross Creek, but Jeffrey could sense she was rattled by all the reporters loitering outside their front door. "It is hard to maintain when you're being accused of murder," he cracked. Reva encouraged Jeffrey to go back to work while she takes Colin for a walk. She promised her name will be cleared so their lives won't be ruined. Meanwhile, Mallet and Marina butted heads when he asked her to help with the investigation by "spying" on Shayne for more evidence to convict Reva. Marina was wary but agreed to chat with Shayne.

Josh and Olivia flirted over a very innuendo-laced breakfast at Company. They talked about their, ahem, "needs" and agreed both of them need to do something to release their built-up tension. Meanwhile, Natalia dragged Rafe to make cookies for her church committee meeting and insisted that it will be a "happy, fun, cookie-filled day." He wasn't interested and asked to leave. Later, Olivia surprised Nat to help and brought Emma along. Nat was pleased and they had a good time.

When Dinah confronted Shayne about questioning Mallet's decision to arrest Reva after the murder weapon was found in her car, the couple tangled. He got even more angry when Dinah brought up Henry and surmised that she's just trying to get closer to Mallet and pointed out that he will never understand her unwavering devotion to her ex. They bickered but quickly made up. Dinah understood that Shayne's just stressed out about his mom and accepted his apology.

At Company, Marina innocently told Shayne that Mallet is asking for his and her help in the case. Shayne was miffed that Mallet would try to persuade Marina to get Shayne to talk and send his own mom to prison. Meanwhile, Mallet ran into Rafe outside the SPD. He was looking to hang out with Frank who wasn't around so Mallet suggested they play catch until he returns. Rafe admitted he's having trouble adjusting to life on the outside and that his mom is getting on his nerves. Later, Rafe went to the church and offered to help Liv, Nat and Emma make cookies. Nat was bummed that he only stayed a few minutes. Liv reminded her to take one step at a time.

Instead of going to work, Jeffrey went to the lot where Reva's car was impounded and took some fingerprints — and discovered some. He hightailed it over to Mallet and surmised that Reva is being set up. He urged Mallet to consider it as an option (and look into the fingerprints).

Dinah paid Reva a visit and was surprised to see Reva outside doing some gardening. She told La Shayne that her son is worried about her. They bonded and Dinah said she admires Reva's tenacity and advised her not to confess to a crime she didn't commit while reminding her that she loves Shayne. Jeffrey overheard the women chatting and approached, wondering what Dinah was doing there. After Dinah left, Reva told Jeffrey she's surprised Dinah seemed so concerned about her fate. Meanwhile, Shayne confronted Josh and asked if he thinks Reva killed Edmund. Josh said no but admitted that he wouldn't blame her if she did. Then he asked Josh if he would confess to the crime himself if it was to protect his family. Josh said he would, especially if it was in self-defense.

Back at home, Mallet told Marina that the DNA on the pipe came back and it matches Edmund's. Then he apologized for being so short with her earlier and said something's wrong with the case and he doesn't think Reva is guilty of murder anymore.
