At the Beacon, Lizzie told Bill to get dressed so they're not late for their own engagement party. When he saw her all dressed up, he suggested they get married tonight and got down on one knee again. She was thrilled and surprised by his plan. He said he's going to contact Doris to perform the nups at the party. They ran into Ashlee who started snapping photos of them. Meanwhile, at Company, the Coopers also prepped for the party; Daisy said she's not going. Ash revealed to Daisy that she's documenting their big wedding moments to sell to tabloids.

At the Spaulding mansion, Beth and Phillip encouraged James to get ready for the party as well. Alan overheard them discussing the severity of James's crimes and how Phil is turning himself in for it. Beth and Phil argued over James's rebellious behavior. "He needs a major wakeup call," Phil said. Alan confronted James about what Phil is doing; James said he's grateful because now he has time to start his new fund and asked his grandfather if he's interested in investing. Alan warned the teen to be careful because Phil is full of surprises. Then he warned Beth that James is a smart kid and she needs to stop underestimating him. Meanwhile, James smoked a cigar and took a call from a new investor.

After Mallet found the PVC pipe in Reva's car, Jeffrey called Josh with the news and urged him to stall and assure Reva that everything will be fine. A guard opened Reva's cell and handcuffed her. She was confused and miffed. Meanwhile, Jeffrey plead with Mallet not to do anything stupid and assured him that Reva had no idea the possible murder weapon was in her car. Jeffrey rushed to the station and begged Reva to tell him the truth and told her they found the pipe. "No! They couldn't have!" she said. Mallet entered and informed her that the judge is ready. Later, the judge told Reva that Mallet's new evidence is enough to charge her for first-degree murder. She set the bail and Frank led Reva away for processing. She maintained her innocence as Frank dutifully took her fingerprints and mug shot.

At Bill and Lizzie's engagement party at Towers, Rick and Matt discussed dating. Bill and Lizzie arrived and greeted the Lewis clan. Bill asked Ashlee to quickly find Doris and promised Lizzie that he's still ready to go forward with their plan to get married in front of everyone at the party. When Doris was a no-show, they looked around the room and wondered who might be able to perform the last-minute nups instead. Meanwhile, at the mansion, Phillip asked James to take Beth to the party so he can deal with the SEC. After they departed, he made a call and set up the arrest. Later, Daisy showed up at Towers to get some dessert for Reva and told Ashlee that her grandma still isn't out of jail. Daisy wasn't interested in sticking around for the party.

Lillian and Alexandra caught up and expressed their excitement about Bill and Lizzie's wedding. Alan rolled his eyes when Phil entered and Lillian pointed out that Phil's return made the entire family happy again. Beth pulled Phil aside and asked if he'd changed his mind about turning himself in; he told her that he did what he had to do. They took a Spaulding family photo and Alan confronted his son about taking the rap for James. Alan surmised that James could learn a lesson from going to jail. Later, Lizzie beamed with happiness as she and Bill took photos with each side of the family. James flirted with Daisy. Phil decided to give a toast, saying that seeing Bill and Lizzie together makes him feel young, hopeful and full of love for his family. Lizzie thanked her pop and Bill said he wants to announce their plan to everyone before they start to leave. His speech was interrupted, however, when SEC agents busted in and arrested Bill for securities fraud. Phil quickly stepped in and said they have the wrong man, adding that the man they're really looking to arrest is his son, James. Beth and Alan were shocked.

Back at the station, Jeffrey returned with cash to post Reva's bail. "That was quick," Mallet observed. He thanked Josh for sticking around while he was gone. Reva practically skipped out of the station and was happily reunited with Colin back at home. Jeffrey surmised that someone placed the PVC pipe in her trunk and is trying to frame her for the crime. Meanwhile, Mallet went back to square one and started looking over crime photos again.
