Olivia returned home from San Francisco. Natalia greeted her with a big hug
and mentioned that Emma wants to move back into the farmhouse. Liv said it
sounds like a good idea. Nat pointed out that moving in together means
telling everyone, including Emma and Rafe, about their relationship. Liv
told Nat not to worry. Nat said she took the biggest chance of her life when
she admitted she loves Liv but doesn't regret it a bit; they tenderly
embraced.
Remy secretly fondled Edmund's jewels as he overheard his dad on the phone
with the credit company. He assured Clayton that he'd do whatever he can to
help with the situation. After, Remy told Christina that he's never seen his
dad so stressed out before. Determined to do something, Remy went to ask
Buzz if he knew anyone who would be interested in purchasing a few diamonds
that he happened upon. Buzz said he does know some of Jenna's old
acquaintances and reluctantly handed over a few names to Remy.
At the police station, Mallet babysat Henry and surmised that Edmund was
murdered, pointing out to Frank that water was not found in Edmund's lungs.
Frank urged Mallet not to rule out other means of death. Mallet went to
Company, with Henry in tow, to research Eddie's case and read a report that
added to his suspicions that Eddie was murdered. When he saw Shayne enter
the restaurant, he began questioning him about his relationship with Edmund.
Shayne was clearly uncomfortable, especially because Mallet was holding
little Henry as he interrogated him.
Outside of Company, Shayne told Josh that he's uncomfortable making Edmund's
funeral arrangements but agreed to do it because it would mean a lot to
Laura. Meanwhile, at Cross Creek, Reva was excited to plant Spring flowers.
She told Jeffrey that she needs to move on with her life now that Edmund is
dead. Jeffrey was struck by Reva's surprisingly happy behavior and left to
go to the police station where Eddie's cause of death was being determined.
After Jeffrey left, Reva called Josh and asked him to come over immediately.
Josh paid Reva a visit and admitted he feels strange being there without
Jeffrey knowing. Reva's behavior was odd as she discussed gardening and the
nice weather; Josh's was equally shifty. Reva inquired about Shayne; Josh
assured her that he's fine and explained that he's handling Edmund's
arrangements. Reva wanted to offer her assistance but Josh encouraged her to
stay out of it. "I'd do anything for my kids and I know you would to," she
said. Later, Reva said she doesn't want to live the rest of her life with
fear and regret and Edmund's death made her realize that. Josh reminded her
that he can tell her anything, but she claimed she had nothing else to
share.
Jeffrey went to the PD to get some answers on Edmund's case, claiming its
for his gig in Washington. Frank was leery and questioned whether Jeffrey
was really just "investigating" for Reva. Later, Jeffrey went to the scene
of the crime.
Back at the farm, Olivia told Nat that she saw Edmund speaking to someone
before his death. Before she revealed with whom he was conversing, she asked
Nat if the authorities think Eddie was murdered. Liv took off to "take care
of the situation." She hightailed it to Jeffrey's to tell him that she spied
Reva talking to Edmund before he was found dead. Meanwhile, Nat had a
meeting with Father Ray and revealed her feelings for Olivia. He was
concerned and told Nat that her feelings are a sin according to the church.
She refused to deny her love for Liv or her faith, adding that her trust in
God and belief in the bible is as strong as ever. He strongly encouraged her
to reconsider her feelings
Reva stopped Shayne at the funeral home and encouraged him to live his life
to the fullest. He was confused by her bizarre behavior, but thrilled when
she informed him that she's officially cancer-free. After, Shayne came home
and was stunned to find Josh already in his room. Josh explained that they
need to make sure their alibis match up for the authorities.... Nat told
Olivia the truth about Father Ray's visit and questioned whether they should
really move back in together, but promised Liv she doesn't think that what
they have is a sin. "I take this very seriously and I want to do it right,"
she said. Liv was concerned but agreed to let Nat tell everyone at her own
pace.... Mallet was overwhelmed with the responsibilities of being
Springfield's chief detective and groused to Frank. "I hope your daughter
doesn't expect me to be home any time soon," he sighed.... Reva came home
and Jeffrey confronted her about meeting with Edmund.
