Lizzie informed Philip that she and Bill are back together. Phil supported his daughter's decision and confirmed that Grady was her kidnapper. Lizzie asked if the cops have the creep but Philip only assured that Grady was in a place where he will never bother her again.

Olivia worried how to keep Philip away from Emma. Natalia hoped that he would go to jail but Liv feared that will happen. Nat went to see Philip and explained that Olivia is terrified that he will take Emma. Natalia urged Philip to prove himself to Olivia but to take his time in doing so. Meanwhile, Olivia tried to get Doris to intercede with Philip but Ms. Wolfe said there was nothing more she could do. Liv then observed how Doris seemed a little too friendly with a female bartender. Olivia met up with Natalia and announced that she may be able to coerce Doris into helping them with the Philip problem. Liv then explained that she saw Doris in a gay bar and Natalia said that would be blackmail.

Philip revealed to Doris that he was representing himself at his trial. After he left, Olivia and Natalia showed up and threatened to expose her secret. Doris then agreed to move up Philip's trial date.

When Cyrus told Dinah that he couldn't locate his brother, she hoped that Grady fell off a cliff. Dinah was anxious to find out if Grady has blabbed about her involvement in Lizzie's kidnapping. Dinah and Cyrus searched for Grady but came up with nothing. Later, Dinah felt guilty when Bill praised his sister for standing by him. "I love you," Bill gushed.

At Company, Bill filled his parents in on escaping his kidnappers but they assumed he was joking. Billy and Vanessa were perplexed when their son bumped into Lizzie and they exchanged pleasantries as if they didn't know each other. Bill explained that he and Lizzie were starting completely over as if they didn't have any prior history and they scheduled another run-in for later that day. Billy took a cue and flirted with an amused Vanessa by pretending that he didn't know her.

While walking Roxie in the park, Lizzie crossed paths with Bill, who was also walking a dog that he borrowed. The "strangers" then agreed to join each other for a walk. After, she gave him her phone number.

As Philip eavesdropped, Lizzie told Cyrus that she never saw Grady pick up the ransom money. Philip rushed to the garage and took the duffle bag of cash. He then spied Cyrus and Dinah enter the garage where they searched for the money. When they couldn't find it, Cyrus left to continue looking for his bro' and Philip confronted Dinah. He explained that he was looking for evidence about Lizzie's kidnapper and she lied that she was working on a story for WSPR. Later, Philip adopted an Aussie accent and called Cyrus to verify Grady's flight purchase to Down Under. Next, Philip emptied the duffle bag of the money and threw the bag off a cliff.
