At Company, Frank was excited to see that the Christmas tree sale for Rafe's legal fees was a success. Meanwhile, Natalia confronted Olivia and was stunned to discover that Liv had sacrificed her job at Galaxy to get Nat's money back. Liv explained that she's just trying to protect Nat and that she doesn't need to be thanked because that's what friends do for each other. Nat still felt guilty.

Ashlee ran into Daisy and Grady, excited to explain to Daisy that she'd made amends with Grady and hopes that bygones can be bygones. Daisy reluctantly agreed to trust Ash again but had to rush off to Company. After Daisy left, Ash encouraged Grady to get a job as part of his effort to redeem himself and make Daisy proud. So, they headed over to the police department where Ashlee offered to pull some strings to help him get a job. He wasn't interested, however, and pointed out that too many Coopers are cops and they wouldn't want him around. Ash then went to Doris and tried to persuade her to hire Grady in the Mayor's office. Doris interviewed Grady and said she's looking for someone who's a good problem solver. She offered him a job as her "special assistant."

Olivia went home to the Beacon, glanced at a brochure for Galaxy and fell into bed because she was feeling weak. Meanwhile, Frank urged Nat not to let Olivia walk all over her, reminding her that she's smart and capable and should really consider buying Cassie's farm.

Bill and Lizzie returned to the mansion and angrily griped to Beth about their encounter with the police. Bill admitted that he shouldn't have made a statement about the kidnapping without Frank, saying that everything he told them made him look more guilty. Lizzie assured Bill that they'll get through it and continued to support him and his innocence. When Bill left, Beth told Lizzie she's proud of her faith and love in Bill, adding that she wishes she could be more like her daughter sometimes. An exhausted Lizzie was too upset to listen and bristled at Beth's praise. Later, Beth admitted to Alan that she wishes she she could wear her emotions on her sleeve like Lizzie and pointed out how much easier that is when you're young and don't have any regrets. Not surprisingly, Alan told Beth that he'd choose maturity and power over youth and reckless love any day.

Daisy arrived at Company. Coop said he's glad Grady isn't with her because it's a big, special day for Natalia and he doesn't want it to be ruined. Then, Daisy told him that he should be on her side. After, Daisy helped Buzz wrap Christmas presents. Later, Rafe unexpectedly showed up and explained to Daisy that he's doing a prison work-release program. She changed the subject when he inquired about Grady. Natalia entered and shared a brief reunion with Rafe before he had to split. Olivia called Nat to say that she needs help.

Bill tangled with Alan, who remained hell-bent on proving that he's guilty and keeping Bill and Lizzie apart. Meanwhile, Lizzie and Cyrus met at Towers for coffee and to discuss leads on the kidnapper. Cyrus urged Lizzie to get some rest. She said she's too caught up in Bill's case to do anything else and pointed out that she thought everything would be over once Bill woke up, but now she's stuck in a nightmare that just won't end.

Nat checked in on Olivia and explained that she wants to purchase Cassie's farmhouse with her money. She asked Liv to rent a room so she can afford her mortgage and make things more convenient for both of them. Olivia agreed to move in and later accompanied Nat as she signed the paperwork for her new house.

Lizzie broke down in tears after reading a note from Bill explaining that he loves her, but that he's skipping town for a while to figure things out and hopefully prove his innocence for good.
