Carly apologized for snapping at Jason, stating that she was just nervous about Michael. Jason said that Carly needs to give her son a little bit of space, which Carly admitted would not be easy for her to do.
On their joyride, Kristina swerved in time to avoid another car but as Michael pointed out, she was still endangering their lives by driving without a licensed driver in the car.
Johnny entered Jake's for a drink, and Coleman announced his plans to spruce up the joint to draw in more customers. He unveiled a piano, and Johnny sat down and played something classical. Coleman was awed but asked Johnny to pick up the tempo. Alexis entered and was impressed with the musical
selection, and even moreso by Coleman's taste in pinot noir. Diane showed up but Alexis wasn't in the mood to talk shoes. She asked Diane to drop the lawsuit against Matt. They discussed the mayor and his "loose zipper." Diane posed that perhaps the mayor might step down and Alexis could take over the job.
At McCall & Jackal, Spinelli was left walking funny after the waxing he endured at the spa to discover that Kate was being blackmailed by her rival, Giselle. He and Maxie were unsure of what their next move should be. As Spinelli pondered where Sam was, a shadowy figure lurked outside the door. After Spinelli then tapped into Kate's financial records, the pair decided to take a break and head over to Jake's for a drink. When Spinelli locked
the door behind them, the shadowy figure returned.
At Sonny's, Claudia chastised Sonny for believing the baby was Ric's and said she was willing to leave his house. Sonny told her to go but, after catching her talking to the baby alone, he lightened up. Just then, Michael arrived and said he wanted to live with his dad. Sonny called Carly to tell her that Michael was okay.
Spinelli and Maxie arrived at Jake's and ordered drinks. After Spinelli downed a shot of scotch, they noticed that Johnny was playing the piano.
Jason went to the Lakehouse, where he confronted Kristina on driving Michael over to Sonny's. When Jason threatened to tell Alexis, Kristina yelled at him, told him to cut her some slack and slammed the door in Jason's face.
Carly showed up at Sonny's, where Claudia and Michael had gone for a walk. Carly told Sonny that they can't let Michael turn the two of them against each other. She insisted that Michael needs "boundaries." On the patio, Claudia was sympathetic to Michael but told him that he needs to be careful. She then instructed him on how to play people to get what he wants. Michael stated how angry he was at losing part of his life and declared that he needs to live twice as hard now to make up for lost time. After they entered, Michael was not happy to hear Sonny say that he should live with his mother. Michael was surprised further when Claudia agreed.
When Sam caught the shadowy figure in their P.I. offices, he attacked her. Jason burst in and knocked the guy out. Sam then revealed that the thug was really an undercover cop and she was in way over her head with a case.
At The Haunted Star, Rebecca showed up to play some Texas Hold 'Em, but Luke wasn't around. Rebecca told Ethan that Nikolas has been avoiding her since he learned she's Emily sister. Just then, Nik showed up. Rebecca covered and invited him to play some blackjack with her. Ethan agreed to act as dealer.
At G.H., Robin and Patrick discussed Brianna's case and each felt partly responsible for what happened. Patrick thanked Robin for listening to him. Meanwhile, Matt showed up at Jake's and started drinking. As Diane and Alexis gossiped about Matt, he spotted Maxie with Spinelli, strutted over and claimed that she owed him a date and he was collecting tonight. When Spinelli defended Maxie's honor, Matt punched Spinelli. Johnny got into the fray after Matt punched him, too. When Johnny slammed Matt into the bar, Coleman called Patrick and told him he'd better come by to pick up what's left of his brother.
