GH Recaps Week of April 23, 2007
Friday, April 27, 2007
All heads turned when Sonny entered Carly and Jax's wedding ceremony. "Here we go," noted Edward. Carly was rattled but with Jason by her side, she smiled and walked down the aisle to marry her man. Despite the tension in the air, no one spoke up when the "objection" part arrived. The bride and groom then exchanged touching vows as Sonny sat and watched uncomfortably.
Outside Rice manor, Lulu chastised the "three stooges" and said their juvenile behavior made her not want to be with any of them. Lulu realized that she shouldn't have agreed to date all three of them. Elsewhere, a hiding Mr. Craig/Jerry ducked Elizabeth, who was up to stretch her legs. Liz went back in to the service. Just then, Lulu and the boys passed Craig on their way back in. Spinelli turned his head, thinking he recognized the figure, but Lulu dragged him off before he could get a good look at Craig.
During the reception, Lady Jane was relieved that Sonny didn't disrupt the service. The Q's bickered amongst themselves and collected on their bets on whether or not the wedding would happen. Alexis couldn't persuade Jason to introduce "Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Jacks" so she had to do the "honor" herself. "You such a baby," Alexis huffed. Carly and Jax entered and lit up the room. As Lulu watched Carly and Jax shared their first dance, Spinelli had a fantasy that he and Lulu were strutting their sexy stuff on the dance floor in front of a cheering crowd. He then snapped out of it as Edward prompted Dillon to ask Lulu to dance. Milo then put in his bid for the next dance.
As Jason, Monica and Edward remembered Alan, Jason took them over to spend time with Michael, which delighted the Q's.
Robin and Patrick stole away outside, unaware of Craig's presence on the grounds. They reassured their love for one another and told one another how much they missed the other. They kissed and hugged.
Sonny bumped into Carly outside, where he complimented her by saying, "You always are a beautiful bride." Carly thanked him for being with the boys and apologized for accusing him of sending Jason out of town right before the wedding. She assured him he'd find someone and got teary when he told her to, "Just be happy." Jax came out and thanked Sonny for supporting Carly. The men shook hands and Sonny walked off. Jax and Carly kissed.
Robin returned to Nikolas and continued their ruse. He asked her to set up a clandestine meeting for him with Emily. Robin advised Em to meet Nik at the gazebo.
As Carly made her way around the tables, she asked Max and Stan to keep an eye on Sonny. On the dance floor, Milo and Spinelli proved they're not exactly light on their feet. Bobbie announced the bouquet toss; Lulu was the lucky recipient, prompting cheers from her stooges. Then, Jax tossed the garter. It landed right in front of Jason, who didn't even get on the floor with the other single men. Jason gave the garter to an overjoyed Spinelli. But, when Milo and Dillon objected, Lulu left the hall in a huff. As it started getting late, Leticia took the boys home so they adults could play.
At the Metro Court, Sonny took a room, ordered up some booze and called a woman named "Eva" to visit him. After a few drinks, a drunken Sonny opened the door — to Amelia.
Jax received a call from Jerry and went outside to take the call.... Carly succeeded in dragging Jason out on the dance floor.... Sam caught Elizabeth staring at Jason and rubbing her belly.... Emily and Nikolas rendezvoused outside. Emily warned Nik not to upset Craig.... On the docks, Lulu walked right into a gun battle.... While talking to Jerry, Jax realized by the background noise that his brother was nearby.

As he prepared to leave for Rice Manor, Jax was greeted by the Metro Court staff, who extended their best wishes to their boss. Lady Jane sighed that since they haven't heard back from Jerry, it looked like he wasn't going to be there for his li'l brother.
At the coffeehouse, Sonny contemplated asking Carly not to go through with marrying Jax. Just as he was about to pour himself a drink, Michael and Morgan showed up and announced they were skipping their mom's wedding. Michael said they were okay with Jax; they just didn't want their father to be alone. Sonny thanked his sons and ordered them to go and welcome Jax into the family. The boys complied.
At Wyndemere, Alexis ran into Mr. Craig/Jerry and realized Nikolas did not pass along her message about attending the wedding with him. He admitted he would have loved to have escorted her but he could not. Nik reiterated they had a very important conference call. Alexis smiled and exited as graciously as possible.
At the penthouse, Spinelli was relieved that Stone Cold returned. Spinelli was wearing Jason's tux and had the slicked back ‘do, and explained how he filled in for Jason at the rehearsal. Jason felt bad about missing it. Then, Spinelli brought up the whole baby thing again. Oy!
Lulu showed up as Carly got dressed. Carly was frantic, and worried that her earrings didn't say "bride" but instead said "hoochie mama." As she fretted about Jason's absence, she dropped her compact and the mirror broke. Lulu solved Carly's hair problem with a tiara but the conversation shifted to the whole Sonny/Jax thing. Carly insisted she was happy marrying Jax. Then, Bobbie and Lady Jane entered for the bridal ritual. "Something old" was a necklace Bobbie bought with her first check as a nurse. "Something new" was lingerie from Lady Jane. "Something borrowed" was Laura's engagement ring from Lulu. But, they'd forgotten "something blue!" No worries. Max showed up with a card for "Mrs. soon-to-be-J" and the gals commandeered his blue hankie. Max was thrilled to help out. As Carly dismissed the gang, her heel broke. As she fretted, Jason arrived and Carly burst into tears. Was she doing the right thing? she wondered. Carly calmed and she and Jason shared a laugh as he slipped her garter up her leg. They then left for Rice Manor.
At the Quartermaine's, Edward huffed about having to go to Carly and Jax's wedding. Monica, Emily and Ned said they had to be supportive for Michael's sake. Luke entered and stated he had no plans to attend. Then, he heard the latest news of the Sonny/Alcazar rivalry and bolted. Luke went to see Sonny and asked him not to make Skye a casualty of their feud. Sonny stated he didn't want to see Skye hurt but he couldn't make any guarantees. The men then discussed the women in their lives over coffee but after Luke left, Sonny downed a drink.
As Alexis told Jax that her date stiffed her, Craig/Jerry listened to Jax's voicemail and felt guilty for staying away from the wedding.... Lucky gave Elizabeth a belated wedding present.... Nikolas and Robin attended the wedding together. Nik told Robin that Emily knows about the ruse. "Guess this proves you lied," Alexis noted to her nephew regarding his attendance..... Monica and Alice were missing Alan during the festivities..... When Patrick pretended to flirt with Emily, she confessed she knew the truth about Nikolas and Robin.... Dillon, Spinelli and Milo argued over their places as Lulu's dates. As jealousy reared its head, Lulu went to hang with her other dates, Michael and Morgan.... Jax patiently awaited Carly's arrival and realized Jerry wouldn't be attending..... Ned agreed to be Alexis's date for the wedding.... Guests began to wonder if Carly would stand up Jax.... The minister went to take his place. Jax had no fears that Carly wouldn't show.... Craig lurked outside the site, watching his brother and mother through the window.... Carly and Jason arrived, as did Sonny, just as they were about to walk down the aisle.

At Rice Manor, Lady Jane expressed her disappointment at Jerry's selfishness and that he would not be attending Jax's wedding to Carly. She lamented her firstborn's wild streak and admitted she constantly worried about him. Jax stated he felt sorry for his rootless sib. An eavesdropping Jerry/Mr. Craig regretted causing his loved ones pain.
At the penthouse, Carly threatened to cancel her wedding if Jason didn't make it and blamed Sonny for her best friend's disappearance. Lulu and Spinelli were unable to calm her and she stormed off.
At the coffeehouse, Sonny instructed Cooper to be the best police cadet he can possibly be. Coop boldly stated that he'd arrest Sonny if asked. Sonny designated Max as Coop's only contact with the organization. Coop stated he understood what would happen if he doesn't deliver for Sonny. Coop was dismissed and Maxie caught him coming out of Sonny's office.
At Metro Court, Robin spoke to Patrick on the phone and warned him they've got to be more careful about showing affection, since Emily caught them kissing. Then, Lulu arrived just as Logan was being rude to a patron. She chastised him and helped the woman in need of directions. Then, Alcazar strolled by with his cane and bumped into Ric, who questioned Lorenzo about the shooting at the TV studio. Ric accused Lorenzo of using Skye and putting her in harm's way.
At Wyndemere, Emily refused to believe Nikolas's ruse and he asked her to leave. "If you do love me, then stay the hell away from here," he barked. She demanded to know what he was protecting her from. Alexis arrived and asked to see Mr. Brosnan. Emily was unaware of Brosnan's presence at Wyndemere. Alexis mentioned she planned to ask him to escort her to Jax's wedding. Nik was horrified. Alexis was dumfounded by Nik's indignant response. He lied about a conference call scheduled for that same time. Insulted by her nephew's bossy attitude, Alexis left in a huff. Nikolas continued the ruse saying he loved Robin. Em slapped him. "It's over, Emily," he insisted. "I don't love you anymore." Robin arrived at Wyndemere and told Emily to grow up, stop begging and accept the inevitable. Emily took off and Craig entered, having caught the tail end of the show. He questioned why Em would think reconciliation was still possible and questioned if Robin and "Paddy boy" tipped her off. Robin denied his charge.
Spinelli tried reaching Jason by phone, but had to leave him a message. Jax went to the penthouse to find Jason and met Spinelli for the first time. Spinelli said Jason wasn't around but, "The jackal is hot on his trail." Jax also blamed Sonny for Jason's disappearance. Spinelli said that Jason's exit had nothing to do with the wedding. Jax called Spinelli a confused kid and berated Jason for the disappearing act. Spinelli defended his mentor, to no avail.
Cooper managed to soothe Maxie's curiosity with a lame excuse about checking out Sonny's layout. Then, Carly stormed in and accused her ex of sending Jason out of town to sabotage her wedding to Jax. She was furious and said she'd marry Jax whether Jason was there or not.
Sonny tried reaching Sam at the TV studio but was told she was on location. Amelia refused to take his call. "Sonny Corinthos doesn't scare me," she told a stagehand, although it appeared he really did. Later, Sonny showed up and caught Amelia changing. He lambasted her for talking Sam's ear off about dropping Jason. Amelia refused to back down.
Alexis showed up at Rice Manor for the rehearsal, as did Lulu, Bobbie, Lady Jane, Jax and the minister. Carly did not and Lulu broke the news about the Jason situation. Just then, Carly surprised everyone by showing up calm and ready to go. Then, Spinelli arrived sporting Jason's slicked-back ‘do and filled in for Stone Cold by walking Carly down the aisle. The group giggled and Carly conceded. Rehearsal began. Then, someone voiced an objection about Carly's lingering feelings for Sonny. Carly was furious but the Rehearsal continued. Afterward, Jax and Carly shared a touching champagne toast with each other in front of their guests and kissed.
Maxie and Coop went to Metro Court and Maxie accused Logan of wanted to cozy up to Sonny. Coop cautioned his friend about being careful about what he wants and the danger involved with Sonny.
Back at Wyndemere, Emily waited outside for Nikolas and confronted him again, while inside, Robin quizzed Craig about his true motives. Nik finally gave up and confessed everything to Emily. She vowed to stick by her man's side, no matter what.

At Wyndemere, Mr. Craig/Jerry Jax (How was THAT for a shocker!) dodged Jax's calls, requesting him to be present at his little brother's wedding. Robin noted that Craig was avoiding his phone and called him on it. Nikolas pointed out that Craig's false papers had come through and wondered why he'd stick around P.C. Craig lost his patience with Nik and Robin's questions and threatened Patrick's life if they didn't comply to his demands to back off. Robin left for work.
After Amelia recalled the TV studio shooting, Sam arrived and mentioned that Jason left town on his motorcycle. Amelia thought it was for the best. Sam wasn't interested in her producer's opinions and stated that if she had to choose between the show and her man, Jason would win every time. "A gangster is not the ideal boyfriend for a TV personality," Amelia pointed out. As Sam practiced her lines in front of the camera, Amelia pulled out an old photo of Sam.
At the hospital, Emily confronted Patrick and wanted to know if he and Robin were back together. He acknowledged that he was letting his personal problems affect his work, just as Noah approached and requested them to band against Dr. Ford as Chief of Staff. The doc wandered by and Noah confronted him on his policy of turning away needy patients who didn't have health insurance. "We are a business as well as a hospital," Dr. Ford pointed out. Monica sided with Noah, but Dr. Ford said he was doing what was best for the hospital. While Monica and Emily discussed how much they missed Alan, Patrick informed Robin that Emily was asking questions about them. Afterward, Emily confronted Robin in the locker room on the kiss she witnessed, but Robin denied it and lied that she's involved with Nikolas now. Then, Robin made a hasty exit.
Spinelli told Lulu about Jason's exodus and worried, "His life-force is fading!" He suggested strongly that she confide in Carly that Jason is the father of Elizabeth's baby.
Carly was curious as to why Jax was so adamant on Jerry's presence on the wedding. Jax pointed out that he postponed the nups to chase after his brother earlier in the year. Jax was worried, as Jerry was on the run from the Russian mafia and confided that he didn't actually see his brother the last time — Jerry was always a step ahead of him. Lulu arrived and she and Carly discussed who Lulu would bring as her date. Lulu opted not to bring up Jason and opened up to her cousin about how three men fighting over her isn't as much fun as it may seem. Bobbie showed up, ready to dive into the wedding preparations. After Lulu left, Bobbie asked her daughter, "Are you sure you're over Sonny?" Carly responded that marrying Jax was the best thing she'd ever decided.
At the Metro Court bar, Tracy demanded a drink while Luke seconded the motion and tripled it. "Gee, you're hot when you whine," Tracy laughed. "Who knew you would change my life," he grinned back.
Logan showed up at Metro Court, ready to take over Coop's job. As Coop gave him the run-through, Lady Jane arrived to see Jax. As Maxie criticized Logan, Jax arrived to greet his mother. Jane expressed her happiness about the wedding and agreed to call Jerry. Jane reached her eldest son at Wyndemere, as Nikolas eavesdropped on their conversation. Lady Jane was relentless. "Come to the wedding," she demanded. Craig spotted Nik and hung up. Craig advised Nikolas to mind his own business or he'd withhold the antidote to the poison in Nik's bloodstream.
At the coffeehouse, Lulu bumped into Milo and mentioned the wedding. "Yes," he replied before she could even ask if he wanted to be her date. "I'll even dance." Dillon walked in and jumped all over the date announcement. When the boys continued to bicker, Lulu bellowed, "It's all or none," and planned to take three dates to the nups.
Carly showed up at the penthouse and Spinelli was ready to talk (thinking Lulu had spilled the beans). Before that, though, Carly questioned him about her nickname, Valkyrie. Spinelli realized Carly didn't know about the baby and clammed up. Then, Carly flipped when she learned that Jason had left town, saying she couldn't marry without him.
After Logan questioned Coop's motives about joining the PCPD, Max reminded Coop of Sonny's true objectives for him.... Jax took Lady Jane to the site of the wedding. She loved it. As they mentioned that they missed their dearly departed patriarch, John Jax, Craig watched the exchange from the doorway.... Emily went to Wyndemere to confront Nikolas. "I'm not leaving until you tell me the truth," she huffed.

At the TV studio, Alcazar's two "associates" disarmed Jason. A struggle
ensued and as Amelia cowered and called 911, Jason and Sam fought with the
gunman. Sam shot and killed one man; Jason wounded the other.
At the Spencer house, Lucky mentioned to Elizabeth about Jason being the
baby's godfather. Liz wasn't thrilled with the prospect of Jason being a
permanent part of their family (like, especially since Lucky doesn't even
know Jason and Liz slept together, let alone the fact that Morgan fathered
her child!) Emily entered and was surprised to hear the godfather news.
Lucky then got a call to head to the TV studio regarding a shooting. After
he left, Emily was all, "What are you thinking?" Liz explained that Lucky
was thinking out of respect, but hoped he'd change his mind. Em left for the
hospital.
Lady Jane arrived in Port Charles to visit with her son. She was stunned to
hear that Jax and Carly were marrying on Friday. Jax filled his mother in on
Carly and Sonny's antics while he was chasing the elusive Jerry all over
Siberia.
Lucky, Cruz and the cops arrived and questioned the witnesses at the TV
studio. After his questioning was through, Jason ducked out. Mayor Floyd
arrived and was ready to go to make a statement to the media. However,
Amelia convinced the mayor that it was in his own best interest to keep
quiet, or else she'd take the show back to New York, resulting in a major
loss of revenue for his city. (Clever girl!) Floyd complied.
Carly felt terrible that she forgot Sonny's birthday and rushed over to his
house with presents from the kids. Sonny was touched by the gifts from his
boys, leaving Carly teary. She and Sonny kissed. Carly begged Sonny to
relinquish her, despite their lingering love. Carly left and Jason arrived.
He mentioned the TV studio attack from Alcazar's associates. Sonny said
there will be no retaliation until after Carly's wedding. Sonny opened up to
Jason about letting Carly go. Jason agreed that sometimes it's best to step
aside.
At Wyndemere, Mr. Craig was not thrilled that Patrick discovered his secret.
Craig threatened to kill him, but Robin leapt to Patrick's defense. Mr. Craig
reluctantly allowed Patrick to live, but not before firing his gun in Robin's
direction. Nikolas chastised Craig for his cruelty and demanded to know why
he was so determined to remain in P.C. Craig, however, avoided the question.
Nikolas got a call from his contact that Craig's identity change was now
effective. Craig wasn't elated about the news and questioned perhaps
changing it again. He then mentioned that there is one person in the world
he does trust — his "fail-safe."
At GH, Patrick ordered copies of all of Robin's lab work to learn more about
the poison. Noah walked up to the desk, where a preoccupied Patrick snapped
at his father. When Robin arrived and she and Patrick quibbled, Noah
lectured the twosome about putting the lives of their patients first. He
ordered them to behave like professionals. Robin concurred, but Patrick
remained frustrated. Emily witnessed the exchange. Robin and Patrick sneaked
off to the locker room, where he vented his frustration about their
situation. She agreed and they kissed. Emily caught that exchange, too.
Back at Carly's house, she and Jax embraced and reaffirmed their commitment
to each other.... Jason got on his motorcycle to drive off.... Lucky
returned home to Liz and noted that because of Jason's dangerous lifestyle,
he probably shouldn't be the baby's godfather.... Sonny reflected on his
life with Carly.... Jax got a call from his brother Jerry, who turned out to
be none other than Mr. Craig!
