B&B WEEK OF NOV. 2, 2009 RECAPS

Week of Monday, November 02, 2009

Drew Tyler Bell
— JPI

Monday, November 02, 2009

During lunch, a concerned Taylor told Thomas and Steffy that Forrester Creations was still their birthright despite Bill being the new owner. Taylor pushed her kids to make their marks in the company and Steffy shared that she has an idea for a new campaign. Thomas suddenly realized that they were late for a meeting and they bolted from the table.

At Forrester, Katie was peeved that Eric and Ridge were skipping her first staff meeting. Brooke explained it would take time for the guys to adjust to the changes at the company. Thorne, Rick, Steffy and Thomas finally arrived and new publicity ideas were discussed. Steffy pitched a campaign built around the Logan sisters that would be based on old Hollywood glamour. Everyone loved the idea and Katie adjourned the meeting.

THE CATWALK studio audience was bored by Donna's interview with a fashion photographer. After the show wrapped up, Donna fretted to Justin that she was doing a lousy job. Justin gave her a pep talk just as Eric arrived. He was surprised to learn that Justin is the executive producer and also handpicked Donna to be the hostess, even though she had no experience. "You're trying to get close to my wife," Eric accused. Bill showed up and sensed the tension but Eric announced that Donna was no longer going to be part of THE CATWALK. Bill challenged Donna to make that decision and asked for her opinion but Eric escorted his wife away. Once they were alone, Eric asked her to go away so he could remember the good things in his life but Donna reminded him that she is vice president of Forrester. She also pointed out that being on a TV has been a longtime fantasy of hers. Eric acknowledged that and walked away. Marcus approached Donna and assured that this new TV gig was her destiny. She became uncomfortable when Justin said it would be so easy for them to pick up where they left off with their relationship because they still had fire and passion. "I can definitely fill your needs," he vowed. "I want you to come back to me."
