At Jackie M, Nick had a fit about Jackie's engagement to Owen. "You're going to get hurt emotionally and financially, and I'm not going to stand for it," raged Nick to his mother. "I'm marrying Owen and you'd better get used to the idea," responded Jackie. Owen likes her money, conceded Jackie, but he wants the whole package. "Let me have some fun," coaxed Jackie. "Am I supposed to call him Daddy?" snarked Nick. Bridget and Owen interrupted the argument. "You're not marrying my mother," spat Nick. Owen is staying at the company, Jackie declared. "It's him or me," snapped Nick. She'll miss him, Mom replied. Owen said he'd be able to work with Nick, and as Nick started to leave, Jackie insisted no one was leaving the company. He wants Jackie to be happy, said Nick, but he thinks Owen is taking advantage of her. His mother has a tendency to lean toward younger men when she's down in the dumps, Nick told Owen. Remember Deacon? Owen is not Deacon, asserted a hurt Jackie. Bridget talked Nick into leaving. "You can trust me," Owen told Jackie as he nuzzled her neck. After Jackie left to freshen up, Nick returned. "This engagement is going to end very soon," Nick declared. "There will be no wedding."

When her meeting with a PRICE IS RIGHT producer was cancelled, Pam tried to talk her way past the CBS gate anyway. Give up the idea of putting Forrester dresses on PRICE, urged Donna, who wanted to go back to the office and run the idea past Eric. Pam spotted the line of people waiting to watch the show and dragged Donna over to the ticket booth. Sitting in the audience like a stalker won't do any good — screaming prices at people is unprofessional, pointed out Donna. Undeterred, a giddy Pam secured two tickets. The ladies were interviewed by two men looking for contestants. "I'm in. I'm going to win a car today!" squealed Pam. When they got to their seats, Pam explained to PRICE novice Donna that most people overbid on items, so she was going to bid $1. If they call her name, she'll just tell them to pick someone else, shrugged Donna. They won't pick Donna, scoffed Pam — she was like a "dead fish" in the interview. "If they're looking for crazy, get ready to run right up there," countered Donna. Donna cringed as contestants were summoned to "Come on down," but then her name was called! Donna excitedly jumped out of her seat and found her place on contestant's row as Pam sulked.
