Jackie observed how slick Owen was with dealing with the modeling auditions. Owen announced that Jackie still needs to find a place to live and she said she didn't want to deal with that now. After she left, a secretary came in with important papers from the bank and Owen offered to bring them to her. He looked at the address and asked if this is the correct address and the assistant affirmed it was the one that Jackie had previously given.

While an introspective Stephanie continued to aimlessly wander the beach, Nick told Taylor that the old woman needed a friend. Taylor was surprised to hear that Nick had a very personal conversation with Stephanie, who had revealed her earlier years with Eric. Nick said he always wanted to see La Forrester "destitute" but had different feelings about it now that he has seen it. Taylor lamented that it's hard for her to be strong for somebody else since Phoebe's death. Nick then pointed out that Stephanie and Taylor "could do some good for each other."

Owen surprised Jackie at the loft, where she was getting settled in. She admitted that she likes her new digs and Owen brought along a bottle of champagne as a housewarming gift. They started getting playful with each Other, which turned into heavy flirting. Since she now owned a foosball table in her "mod" place, Jackie challenged Owen to a game.

Taylor was relieved when Stephanie showed up at her house. Steph wasn't happy to learn that Eric was worried about her and emphasized she didn't want to be Taylor's patient. After Stephanie revealed that she was staying in a motel at the beach, Taylor admitted that she now feels worthless. "You're the only person who's ever given a damn about me," Taylor sighed. "We should live together." Stephanie was first hesitant but finally agreed and the women embraced.
