"Stop it you two!" screamed Brooke, who pulled the lip-locking Taylor and
Rick apart, then slapped Taylor. Brooke accused Taylor of trying to take her son because Taylor feels Brooke took away Jack. Taylor defended that she didn't operate like Brooke with "schemes and manipulations." Taylor then told Rick that she was "honored and flattered" for the feelings he had for her. "I do care deeply for you too," she admitted and Brooke looked like she wanted to throw up. After Brooke left, Taylor asked Rick if he was just using her to rile his mother so he kissed Taylor again. "I think about you every second of every day," Rick declared. "I have fallen in love with you." He took her into a passionate kiss and they sank onto the sofa.
Knowing that Ashley was jetting off to Genoa City for her brother's party,
Ridge told her not to get any "funny ideas" about moving back home. Ashley assured that "things are far too interesting in Los Angeles." The exes
shared a warm moment and Ashley left to board her L.A.-bound plane. Brooke rushed over to Ridge and blabbed that Taylor has seduced Rick. Ridge thought Brooke was being overdramatic. "This is absolutely sick!" she shrieked.
Katie said that Nick was afraid to commit. He pointed out that he just got out of a relationship and wasn't eager to rush into another. Katie then
worried that Bridget was headed for heartbreak. "You should've thought about that before you slept with her," Katie admonished Nick. When he was out of the room, an elated Bridget arrived and thanked her aunt for pushing her to pursue Nick. "I was just living in fear, not going after what I wanted but you convinced me that it's okay," Bridget gushed, while Katie looked guilty.

Rick suggested to Taylor that after he reported in at Forrester Creations,
he would get takeout from Café Russe so they could share a romantic evening in her home. He headed to Forrester and ran into Brooke, who tried to convince her son that getting involved with Taylor was a big mistake. "I'm a grown man," Rick pointed out but was upset when his mother said that Ridge was trying to talk sense into Taylor at that moment.
Eric scolded Pamela for scaring Donna with a toy gun. "That girl has no
sense of humor," joked Pam. After Eric left, Pamela checked Donna's schedule
to see that Ms. Logan had an appointment at the tanning salon. Pamela showed up at the salon and pretended to be interested in their services so the attendant explained how the spray tan worked (by standing naked in a private booth). Pam hid when Donna arrived and entered the booth. After Pam distracted the attendant, she locked Donna in her booth. When the tanning sprayers wouldn't turn off, Donna panicked and tried to get out but couldn't open the door. She started screaming as the sprayers continuously hissed.
Ridge visited Taylor, who knew he was going to admonish her about Rick. She
went immediately on the defensive when Ridge gave his opinion about her
latest involvement. "Phoebe would be devastated if she found out," Ridge
reminded. "You've got to realize how wrong this is." Taylor noted that Rick
was the only person who has given a damn about her lately but Ridge — sensitive as ever — kept harping on Phoebe's feelings. Rick entered in time to overhear Taylor tell Ridge that she was not in love with Rick. When Ridge wasn't convinced, Taylor stressed, "I'm not going to cross that line — ever." Rick slipped out of the house unnoticed but was visibly upset.

Rick snuck back in the house to hear Taylor sing his praises to Ridge.
Still, Taylor promised she wouldn't let things with Rick progress too far.
Ridge reminded Taylor that if she crossed the line with Rick, Phoebe would surely be hurt. After Ridge left, Rick breezed in with take-out from Café Russe and pretended that everything was okay. As they dined, Taylor could sense that something was wrong and Rick admitted that he overheard her conversation with Ridge. He tried to leave but Taylor stopped him. "It doesn't take a psychiatrist to see that there's problems with this," Taylor
pointed out but Rick said she was overanalyzing and started kissing her.
Taylor got a yummy look on her face (wouldn't you?) and Rick urged her to
"enjoy the moment." Taylor admitted that she cared for Rick deeply but asked him to leave. Rick reluctantly complied and Taylor broke down in tears.
At the tanning salon, the attendant finally heard Donna's screams and let
her out of the locked booth. Donna was devastated to see how dark her skin was. The ditzy attendant offered a free coupon and Donna stormed out. At Forrester Creations, Eric asked Pamela if she knew of Donna's whereabouts but the nutty Ms. Douglas feigned ignorance. Donna showed up, looking totally over baked. She sobbed in Eric's arms while an amused Pam stifled a chuckle. "I look awful," Donna whined. Meanwhile, Pam discovered that Donna was scheduled to have her hair colored the next day.
An agitated Brooke was pacing her office when Ridge returned and declared that whatever was happening between Rick and Taylor seemed real. "Her making love to Rick makes me sick," Brooke shuddered but Ridge pointed out that Rick and Taylor were adults. Brooke got even more worked up and Ridge assured her that Taylor would behave herself but Brooke wasn't too comforted.

Brooke was relieved when Rick announced that Taylor pushed him away. He blasted his mom for interfering and vowed not to give up on Taylor. "She is driving a wedge between us," ranted Brooke and deemed a relationship between
her son and Taylor as a "recipe for disaster." Rick urged his mother not to
worry about him and they hugged. After Rick left, he called Taylor's voice
mail. "I love you," he said.
James came over to Taylor's house at her behest and she confessed that she
she has fallen in love with Rick. "Dear God help me," she sighed but admitted she sent him away. However, Taylor said she started journaling
about Rick and realized the depth of her feelings. James urged Taylor to
share those feelings with Rick and she said she already did so in a letter.
"I just hope it's not too late," Taylor said nervously.
Brooke and Katie were surprised by Donna's darkened appearance. "I look
ridiculous," she lamented but she still looked forward to her hair appointment. Katie reminded her sister that she had her Eye On Fashion
interview but Donna didn't want to go through with it. Eric came in and
assured that there would only be a reporter, no photographers. Eric met with Jarrett, the reporter, first and explained Donna's tanning accident. Jarrett promised to pretend not to notice but when Donna entered the room, "Oh, my God," escaped from his lips.
Rick received a letter in which the sender announced she was ready to make love with him, despite their age difference. Rick anxiously went to Taylor's house but was surprised when Phoebe revealed herself and announced that she was glad he got her letter. "I waited a really long time for this," she gushed and hugged a stunned Rick.
Donna's hairdresser arrived at Forrester Creations and while he was
distracted by Brooke and Katie, Pam swapped his hair dye with her own
mysterious bottle. While she was getting her hair worked on, Donna used whitening strips on her teeth. Later, Donna looked in a mirror to see the results of her hair and screamed.

Donna was horrified that her hair turned out green. She then removed her whitening strips to find that her teeth were now brown. Pamela heard Donna screaming and called Stephanie. "Don't give up hope," Pam happily advised her sister. Eric tried to comfort Donna but she screamed at Pam to come into the office. "You're responsible for all of this!" Donna charged but Pam feigned innocence.
Brooke asked Katie about Nick and Bridget. Katie accused Brooke of not
wanting Nick to be with anyone else. Brooke insisted that she was only
worried about Bridget getting hurt. Meanwhile, as Nick and Bridget were
rolling around in bed, he asked if she could handle their no-commitment
arrangement. Bridget assured she could but then her pager went off and she had to leave for the hospital. Katie showed up and Nick invited her to join
him for the dinner that was planned with Bridget. While they were dining,
Nick admitted he was having "unacceptable" thoughts about her. Meanwhile, Storm admitted to Brooke he could use some help in the romance department. "I'm sure the perfect woman is coming your way," Brooke predicted.
Phoebe declared her love to Rick and wanted to show him how much. Taylor
showed up and Phoebe revealed that she had a special night planned for Rick. Phoebe rushed into the kitchen to check on dinner and Rick showed her letter to Taylor. "This is why it will never work between us," Taylor gasped after she read the missive and pushed Rick to make it work with her daughter. Rick argued that he wanted Taylor and knew she wanted him. Phoebe returned and sensed the tension in the room. Taylor announced she had errands to run and excused herself. Phoebe told Rick that she wanted to give their relationship
another chance. Before he could answer, Rick pretended that he needed to escort Taylor to her car. Outside, Rick confronted Taylor. "Move on with
Phoebe and forget about me," Taylor urged but he kissed her instead and
declared his love.
