Noah, Luke and Ameera wandered through Old Town, and when Luke might have kissed Noah, Noah stopped him citing the ICE watching them. (Aw, they have a built in excuse now!) Luke told Noah he didn't want to go back in the closet. They got all intense and Ameera gently interrupted. The gang broke up with a friendly (chaste!) shoulder pat. When a Fed dropped by the farm, Emma fumbled explaining Noah and Ameera's separate bedrooms. At Java, Ameera was delighted to see Casey (sporting a fetching short 'do) and was fascinated when he let it slip that he'd been in prison. They bonded over craving freedom. Federal Agent Dude interrupted to tell Ameera that
between separate beds and coffee with the Casemeister her visa could be
revoked. Fortunately, Noah and Luke arrived! The Fed announced their
sleeping arrangements to the world and Noah pointed out Ameera's culture and them being guests at Emma's. But what about Casey? Luke enterprisingly pounced on him, and declared, "He's my boyfriend!" (LOL!) Luke cracked up the minute Fed Guy left. Casey prickled (albeit not
homophobically). Luke and Noah thought this could be a good scam. They could be together while Casey spent time with his new crush. Ameera didn't want to live a bigger lie, but Noah and Luke convinced her to comply. Casey was embarrassed by having his feelings for Ameera outed and landing a new boyfriend all in one fell swoop, so he fled! Luke was still amused when the trio arrived home but Emma reminded them of the severity of the situation. Still, Luke and Noah had a cute moment on the porch, where Noah pulled Luke
against him and warned, "No matter how cute you think Casey is, you belong to me."
At Memorial, Barbara arrived for radiation and spied Sofie looking for
Chris. She thanked Sofie for encouraging her to tell Will and Gwen and praised her for giving Hallie back to them. Gwen and Hallie were running
late to accompany Babs in, so Sofie offered to be there with her. Ali caught
up with Casey about Super Margo neutralizing Nevins and then a trauma
patient was rushed in and left under the poor nurses' aide's care. Luckily,
Chris showed up! Chris and Ali saved their patient despite Ali getting all
woozy and then Chris wanted to celebrate with a lunch date. Gwen and Hallie arrived after Barbara's session — just in time to take her back to the Lakeview. There, Barbara told Gwen it would be best if she left town. Gwen wanted to be there for her, but Barbara pointed out that Sofie was volatile and "it's not healthy" for them to be near each other. Sofie then came by, offering to accompany Barbara to her appointments in Gwen's absence. Later, at home, Gwen considered the offer. And at the Lakeview, Sofie was the waitress on Chris and Alison's lunch date. Awk.Ward.
Carly came home all domestic and Jack told her he didn't want her to rearrange her life over a temporary living arrangement. At WOAK, Katie was so scatterbrained that Brad told her to go to Jack and get sorted out. Jack praised his and Carly's teamwork as parents, but wasn't so sure about
Carjack as married people. Carly was just asking him to "relax." Katie
wasn't sold on claiming Jack for herself but thanked Brad for his
friendship. Later, Carly came to Al's for Jack's favorite donuts, finding
mopey Brad, and Katie went to Milltown. Katie admitted she had Jack on the brain. "I don't want to end up with Katie by default," Brad told Carly. "I am no one's second choice." "I see your ego is alive and well," Carly
cracked. But she wasn't laughing when Brad revealed he'd sent Katie Jack's
way. Carly made a big show of not caring and sitting down for coffee. Brad saw right through it. Back at Carly's, Katie wondered if Jack wanted her to wait for him. Conflicted Jack couldn't ask her that. As Jack apologized for hurting her again, Carly came back with groceries. Luckily, Katie actually felt like a big weight had been lifted. When she got back to WOAK, she was totally ready to work. In their kitchen, Carly asked Jack if they could "at least try." He just didn't know, but he did kiss the back of her head and snuggle her. Aw!

Carly helped Jack to the couch after a filling dinner, veritably clucking over him. He wanted her to stop trying so hard. Carly admitted, "Subtlety is not my thing," and surmised he wanted to be with Katie. At WOAK, Brad wanted to take Katie to "dinner for two," and she suggested he go out with Bonnie instead. Brad told her he and Bonnie are finished, but she still wouldn't budge. Jack was in no mood to discuss Katie OR revisiting Carjack, because "it's too damn painful." Brad and Katie fled unsatisfying dinners and found refuge at the same movie. Carly told Jack he was wrong, that she could change. She could even be "perky" like Katie. When Jack's bandage bled, she offered to change it. This led to much nostalgia. Brad tried to get through to Katie, only succeeding in annoying their fellow movie enthusiasts. Katie admitted that she and Jack were finito, and Brad tried to cheer her up amidst shushing. Back at Carly's, Jack vetoed her soul mate logic by teasingly going over her various liaisons. Hal ("Aww, Hal."), Brad ("Money."), Winston ("He kidnapped me!"), Craig ("Temporary insanity.") Simon. "Your fault," intoned Carly, reminding him he'd moved out and pointing out, "You had Julia." "Which one?" cracked Jack. Brad and Katie finally left the theater and ended up at the Lakeview, where Katie gave Brad his first ever "It's not you, it's me" speech. He understood and walked her to her suite. Of course, the tide turned in the doorway and they kissed. All kidding about Julias aside, Carly told Jack that if it had been her, amnesia wouldn't have stopped her. She would always know Jack. She kissed him, telling him he couldn't deny this, and he kissed her back.
Will arrived home from class to find Gwen a little out of it and Gwen told him about Sofie taking Barbara to chemo. Elsewhere, Barbara and Paul argued over her sending the kids out of town because of "your little Sofie." "She's not my little anything!" Paul scoffed, working those "she's his daughter" anvils to the hilt, before pondering how to convince Will to leave town. Luckily, Gwen was doing exactly that! Will was convinced by the time Babs and Paul arrived. Paul praising Will's decision was interrupted by Meg calling. Barbara wanted to throw the kids a going away party. Later, Will and Gwen looked forward to their move and they mentioned Hal. Aw! They also remembered to tell Lucinda they were moving out of her cottage. Lucinda wished them both luck. Later, Gwen and Will told Hallie a story and she seemed really fascinated by her ability to wave her foot in the air. Aw!
Emma surprised Lily and Holden with the news that she didn't want to handle the farm on her own anymore. She wanted to sell! Of course she'd keep the house (since half the town lives in it), and the pond, but the rest of the acreage could go. Naturally, Lucinda dropped by with presents for her granddaughters at exactly the right time. She thought selling the farm was a grand idea — and she wanted WorldWide to buy it. Of course, Emma flipped when she realized that meant Paul, too. As voices rose, Lily suggested they actually talk to Paul about this. So they did. "Well, your mother's always wanted me to buy the farm," cracked Paul to Meg. "And just in case you get any funny ideas, my sister? Not part of the deal," warned Holden. Meg bristled, but Paul earnestly assured everyone she'd protect the family's interests. "You cross me, young man, and you'll be staring down the barrel of a shotgun," Emma warned. "Is that a yes?" Yup! On the porch, Paul reiterated that he loves Meg, who wasn't ready for it.

Katie regretted her hot night with Brad, and despite Brad amorously going in for round two, Katie bolted to get dressed for a jog. Brad assured Katie that he'd changed from his hound dog ways. "I want to have sex with you, only you, for the rest of my life and that is your fault," he accused. "The only thing I don't want to be is your daddy...like Jack." That was exactly the wrong thing to say. Katie bolted. At Carly's, Jack praised Carly's kissing skills but couldn't say it had meant anything. Carly wanted to prove that Jack could trust her but Jack didn't want to revisit this old argument. Brad followed Katie on her run. When Katie resorted to a bike, Brad did, too, stealing a kiddie bike. LOL! The whole sequence was hilarious — especially Brad biking into a pond. Carly and Jack went by Memorial for a checkup and then Carly dropped Jack at the station, mothering him the whole time. When Katie rushed to the lake to help him, Brad stood, revealing it was shallow. Then, down on his knees, he asked, "Will you marry me?" Sadly, before Katie could answer, they were arrested for bike thievery! Carly spied them being hauled into the OPD.
Margo angsted over the bloodstained rug (why haven't they burned that thing?!) and then returned to the OPD where the guys plied her with donuts. Of course, when a routine drug collar got rowdy, Margo pulled her gun...which freaked out Dallas. When Jack visited, Margo deflected. He asked how she was doing and she admitted to "late-night jitters" she would put behind her. Then, they discussed the Carjack situation and Jack confirmed, "Katie and I are finished." Margo and Jack were bemused when Katie and Brad were brought in. Katie tried to warm up a chilled Brad, and Margo wondered what Jack thought of them together. "Like maybe they're meant to be together after all," he murmured as Carly eavesdropped. As Jack and Carly left together, Margo let Brad and Katie off with a slap on the monetary wrist. In the car, Carly accused Jack of trying to avoid her after their kiss "because you want me as much as I want you." By their cars, Katie told Brad of his proposal, "I'll think about it."
Paul arrived at the farm with a sales agreement, but was mostly there to flirt with an unreceptive Meg. Emma said their deal was off because another candidate had outbid WorldWide. When Paul protested, Meg booted him out to question her mama. Emma admitted she wanted to keep Paul from Meg as Paul asked Emily to dig into his competition. Meg confronted Paul, noting he had a "look" that Emma didn't like. Paul refused to pretend he didn't have feelings for her...and then Emily arrived with her findings! Paul then sincerely apologized to Emma and said he'd live with whatever she decided — earning him brownie points with Meg. Later, Paul harangued Emily about finding out exactly who his competitor was. The answer? Mike Kasnoff! A younger, accent-less Mike reunited with a shocked Meg and Emma, claiming, "I'm the guy for the job."
Alison, with hair newly dyed dark brown, beamed at a complimentary Chris. He advised her to enroll in nursing school or go pre-med and she mused that she could, thanks to Dusty's money. Emily caught their confab and prickled. She followed them to the conference room, where Chris unpacked some coffee. Em interrupted the breakfast to butt into Ali's budding love life and then told Susan she'd run into Ali and Chris having a "coffee break." Susan wasn't particularly worried, warning Em not to get obsessed with revenge against Chris. Emily went off to warn Chris away from Alison anyhow! When Susan talked to Ali, Ali accused her of taking sides. Later, Ali ran into Chris and told him the elder Stewarts were butting in. She impulsively asked him to Will and Gwen's going away party and urged him to settle things with his cousin Will before it was too late.

Carly ran into Holden at Java. Cue the subtle pumping for info on Jack's thought process. Meanwhile, Jack arrived at the Lakeview looking for Lisa and encountered Lily, where he brought up a similar subject. "Jack is wary about getting involved with you," Holden told Carly, thinking Jack was entitled to it. Carly blasted Holden, wondering what it is about Snyder guys that makes them "so damn self-righteous." At the Lakeview, Lily and Jack weren't as combative. "You both have to change," Lily advised. "You have to try." Snarky Holden dished back that Lily would be more sympathetic before he and Carly actually agreed on some things. Despite Jack's protests, Lily told Jack to give Carly another chance "because you're meant to be together." (Katie heard the sentiment.) Holden wished Carly well, but couldn't give a vote of confidence. Later, Carly and Jack discussed Holden and Lily's advice...and their toaster caught fire. Jack dropped it in the sink and told her to douse it with salt. The grand adventure left Jack sore and he and Carly cuddled on the couch.
Down on the farm, NuNuMike talked to Emma about the farm and made a passionate pitch to develop the land. He was startled to hear that WorldWide and Paul were his competition. (Given his de-aging, it should be Baby Doc
Chris!) Emma admitted she had issues with Paul and then told Mike all about the farm. Meg, meanwhile, called Paul, who rushed over to the farm and reintroduced himself to Mike. Mike suggested they both pitch to Emma so she could judge for herself. Naturally, his eco-friendly pitch was first. Paul wasn't nearly as prepared and improvised. Holden and Lily appeared as the guys were winding up. More hugs with NuNuMike occurred. Lily, again with the smarts, suggested Mike and Paul work together. The idea actually went over well and everyone toasted. Lily asked Mike when he'd see Katie and he said what had happened with Simon "still hurts" and he wanted to concentrate on work. Outside, Paul wanted to concentrate on Meg (as usual). Then, he wanted to dig up dirt on Mike. Meg promised Holden she'd be careful about Paul while Lily told Emma that Mike had definitely returned for Katie. The man in question checked into the Lakeview "indefinitely."
Katie told Margo about Brad's proposal. "Are you out of your mind?" Margo gasped, chiding her for doing really stupid things. At Al's, Brad told Vienna and Henry about popping the question. Vienna hugged him giddily and told him he had to "do something really spectacular to seal the deal." Henry vetoed this idea, telling him to give Katie time. Margo told Katie that she just liked being proposed to, especially now that she can't have Jack. Katie denied this, raving about Brad ("he's sooo fantastic in bed!" TMI!). "Honey, how many times have you been married?" Margo countered. "Proceed with caution." Caution was not in Brad's plans. He bolted out to do something big! Vienna was certain it would work. Henry was so sure it wouldn't that he bet V. Katie would say no. The stakes? Who got to call the shots in bed! They promptly ended up there for a marathon session. At WOAK, Brad got a brilliant idea. Meanwhile, Katie told Jack about his proposal and Jack boggled but encouraged her to "go for it." Well, that was all she needed to hear. "It's really over," she sighed, alone at home as she practiced turning down Brad. Brad taped a special segment of "Katie and Brad Now," and then left it at Katie's door. Katie watched Brad's adorable Bratie fanvid with much amusement (and so did the recapper). "Katie, you had me at 'I hate your guts,'" said video Brad. A moved Katie soon arrived at WOAK with an answer to his proposal: yes! "I'm going to make you the happiest woman on the face of the earth!" promised Brad.

Carly was bummed about Gwen and Will's party, since she didn't want to say goodbye to another sister so soon after Rosanna. Jack offered to tag along. Parker decided to skip baseball practice and go, too. Carly told Gwen she was "working on" her and Jack and the sisters hugged, promising mutual updates. Jack told Will that Hal had been his best friend and he'd always be there for him. Paul offered to be Parker's big brother in Will's absence.
Back in Milltown, Carly went for some air. Parker suggested Jack try and cheer Mom up. "It makes me nervous when you give me relationship advice," laughed Jack. "It makes me nervous when you don't take it," Parker countered. Jack found Carly out by a random body of water. He offered to be Carly's friend and she chuckled, "Platonic friendship has never been our thing." Well, maybe they could try something new. Jack said trust was the beginning of a friendship, and he and Carly shook to being pals. Back at the house, they grabbed beers and watched the sunset, as Parker watched from inside.
Will found Gwen wondering if they were making the right decision. She noted how Will's family had become her own. Aaron asked Sofie to come to the party so she could say goodbye to Hallie, but Sofie turned him down. Paul walked a woozy Barbara to the cottage. She assured Paul she wasn't overdoing it. Paul assured Will that Babs would be fine despite one of her babies leaving the nest. Gwen told Barbara that she'd been more of a mother to her than Iris, and Barbara thanked her for being there for her. Barbara hugged Will, sighing, "I love the man that you've grown to be and the father that you are," she said. "Is that a hug or the Heimlich?" Paul cracked. Cue more hugs and then Barbara leaving. When she got dizzy at the Lakeview, Sofie found her, rushing her to Memorial. Barbara's tumor now needed surgery. She made Sofie promise not to call Will. Paul hugged Will and made his own goodbyes just as Sofie arrived. Sofie held Hallie, wishing the very best for her, before handing her to Gwen and leaving in tears. Naturally, Paul followed her. Naturally, she told Paul about Barbara's surgery and comforted him. Paul told Sofie about James and opened up about his and Barbara's relationship. When the doctor revealed that Barbara's surgery was a success, they hugged, relieved. Then Aaron showed up, and Paul shooed Sofie off with him.
Alison told Chris to get changed for Will and Gwen's bash and he trumped up an excuse that she didn't believe. She ended up convincing him to go after all. Aaron, Chris and Ali all arrived simultaneously and, yup, Will wasn't happy to see his cousin. Chris genuinely apologized and Gwen encouraged Will to make amends. The cousins shook. Aw! Nearby, Aaron told Ali he couldn't help being overprotective where Chris was concerned. Then, Chris and Ali left and enjoyed some ice cream in Old Town, much to Susan's disappointment. "What a pain!" Ali gasped when her mom left. Then they went kite flying, with hilarious results. Later, they sprawled on the ground and bonded.
Noah and Luke cuddled in the farm's kitchen and Casey arrived just in time to get a squeeze from Luke, too. Yup, they were all going to Will and Gwen's.
Casey refused to pretend to be gay again...until Ameera looked delighted to see him. Luke tugged Casey by the arm with a hilarious, "C'mon, Babe!" Once there, Noah, Ameera, Casey, and Luke filled in Will and Gwen on their scheme. Complete with Luke still teasing Casey with little gooses to the side. Gwen finally concluded leaving Oakdale was the best thing for them and then she and Will said goodbye to Aaron. As the Faking Foursome told Will and Gwen more about their wacky charade and how hard it was to keep pretending, the Munsons suggested Noah and Ameera move in to the cottage. Casey was still the doubting Thomas, but all Ameera had to do was smile at him and he agreed to go along with the move. Will and Gwen took a photo of the new tenants "and their gay friends." Naturally, Luke was all over Casey in the shot. LOL! Later, finally alone, Gwen and Will toasted to themselves and "the rest of our lives," and kissed. (Bye, Jen and Jesse!)
