Cole's surprise arrival flummoxed Sofie, Will, and Gwen. Even more baffling?
His suddenly benevolent baby-lovin' attitude! "Drop the act, Cole," Gwen snapped. The doctor interrupted the tense confab with the news that Gwen's transfusion had cured Hallie. A confused Cole wondered why Sofie was called the baby's mother, shocked to hear the Munsons had returned Hallie.
Elsewhere, Kim and Barbara caught up and Barbara admitted she has oral cancer. Cole told Sofie they could make another go of it. Gwen blasted her brother and Sofie asked to handle Cole herself. Alone, she let her sleazy ex have it. Unfortunately, right afterwards, Cole snatched Hallie en route from recovery. Sofie freaked! Kim gave Barbara a pep talk about keeping her peace of mind, especially where Will and Gwen were concerned. Speaking of those two, they saw Cole absconding with Hallie in the stairwell. Crazy Cole threatened to drop Hallie over the stairs but, luckily, Will caught her. Yay! Pediatrics checked Hallie out as the security guards arrived and revealed they'd lost Cole. Shaken Sofie was horrified that he's still out there. "I'm not equipped to take care of Hallie," she admitted, woefully.
Carly checked the surveillance tapes for the strip mall parking lot as a hospitalized Jack confided their fears in Katie. Katie wondered if Jack was implying he'd be done with Carly after they cleared Parker. "You and I might have another shot," he affirmed, refusing to make guarantees. Meanwhile, Carly found a mysterious woman on a tape! She rushed to Memorial with her lead. Katie called Brad to pull him back into the plan. At the studio, she realized Brad was sloshed but they went ahead and did a PSA looking for the woman Carly had found. Carly got an immediate call from a bus driver with a lead. Nearby, Katie told Brad that she and Jack talked about their feelings for each other. "There's a bottle waiting for me," a crushed Brad told her, stumbling back to the Lakeview. At the hospital, Carly surmised Kit had donned a disguise and wanted to go back to the scene shop. She left Jack a note and headed off half-cocked. Jack left her an exasperated message. Later, Katie looked a little guilt-ridden about Brad and left Henry a message. Brad lurched around the Lakeview, leaving Bonnie a message.
Matt found Alison at Java, where she revealed she was willing to take their relationship further. Meanwhile, Vienna met with Gray at Al's and gave him back all his fancy bling. "The only way Henry will take me back is if I come back naked," she said. At the Lakeview, lovelorn Brad and Henry were getting sloshed again when Henry got a note to meet Vienna at church. Matt distracted Alison and drugged her coffee as Brad tried to dissuade Henry from seeing V. Gray pretended to be all helpful and noble with Vienna, telling her that Henry wanted to meet her at the church in Luther's Corners. Matt wasn't nearly as wily. He straight up confessed to Ali that he and Gray were no good. Henry and Vienna met outside the church, kissing passionately as Gray lurked nearby. Once inside, Henry solemnly promised to never leave Vienna and she vowed to love and cherish him and be faithful to him. Aw!
Unfortunately, "till death do us part" might be sooner than they think —
Gray was scattering gasoline outside. When Henry and V. found the church doors locked, they decided to make the best of it. Outside, Gray left Matt with the task of finishing his arson job. Matt called Margo instead.

Carly returned to that dastardly scene shop as Jack called and chided her, "Don't you dare hang up on me!" He told her he'd call for backup and she told him to just get better since she'd be in and out in a jiffy. (Famous last words.) Carly had flashbacks to her last few lovely trips there as she poked around. Jack tried to call Margo, but she was kind busy with her own drama (see below). Carly rifled through files and got caught by Gray, who copped to owning the joint. Carly tried to appeal to him with her Parker sob story and Kit's pictures, not realizing Gray is evil and unsympathetic. Later, Tom visited Jack and they realized their women were both at the scene shop. Surprise, surprise, Carly and Margo came face to face. Hilarity ensued. Later, Carly called Jack, marveling at running into Margo, and Jack told her about the Nevins connection. Off the phone, she ran into a homeless woman who looked mighty familiar.
Totally plastered Brad welcomed Bonnie to the Lakeview, swearing she wasn't just a shoulder to cry on. (Riiiight, Bradley.) At WOAK, Katie couldn't get Brad out of her head. She called Margo, who knew something was wrong. "Man trouble?" Yup. When Katie went to meet Margo for dinner, she found Tom and Margo rushing out for an emergency. This allowed Katie to sigh over Jack's desk and his photos. Back at the Lakeview, Brad ordered tequila shots but Casey and Ali interrupted asking Bonnie to ask Dallas to dig up info on Gray. Bonnie advised them to fill in Margo but agreed to help, while Brad weighed in on Gray's sleaziness. Drunk Brad happily reunited with Vienna and Henry before going off to the OPD to monitor the Bonnie/Dallas/Ali/Casey situation. Katie watched Brad watch it all unfold and then they snarked about Bonnie and Jack. Drunk Brad then left for the Lakeview with Bonnie. There, Henry told Brad he was on the rebound and Bonnie and Vienna traded barbs. Tequila was also consumed. When Brad took a swig from Henry's forgotten bottle of champagne, he passed out. (Okay, he was totally faking!) Henry and V. went upstairs and Bonnie accused Brad of overcompensating.
Of course, Henry and V. burst into Katie's room. She bade them stay and went downstairs...where Brad suddenly passed out for REAL!
At the OPD, Margo got a freaky call from someone calling her "Mom." Meanwhile, Alison told Casey about Matt's warning about Gray. Casey didn't quite want to go to Margo with this, so Ali had another avenue for turning up Gray's past. Meanwhile, Matt kept pretending to be Adam, asking Margo to meet him at the Luther's Corners church. Inside that very church, Henry and Vienna were getting passionate when Vienna pointed out that God was watching them. (LOL.) Henry assured her He wouldn't mind since He's all about peace and love. Outside, Gray wanted Matt to speed up his arson, so Matt knocked him out! Half-dressed Henry and Vienna heard the commotion. "People are coming to pray and we're here sinning!" bemoaned V. before they fled. Nearby, not-so-unconscious Gray pulled a gun on Matt, who regretted victimizing the Hugheses. "Tom and Margo Hughes aren't innocent," Gray snarled, blaming them for his brother's death and then shooting poor Matt. When Margo and Tom arrived in Luther's Corners, they found no Adam...just injured Matt, who fingered Gray. At the Lakeview, Henry and V. were sent a bottle of champagne from...you guessed it, Gray! Henry refused to drink the bubbly from that creep. Matt pointed Margo to the scene shop before he was taken to the hospital. Bonnie and Dallas' investigation turned up Gray's birth name: Gerald Nevins! Casey immediately called Margo, telling the audience that Nevins was the name of the man who raped Margo and that Tom shot years ago. (Thanks, Captain Exposition!) Ali assured Casey that Margo would be fine and they went to visit Matt. Naturally, Casey ran into Tom and told him about Nevins. Elsewhere, Henry and Vienna made mad reunion love and said adorable things to each other.

Holden, Ameera, Noah and Luke arrived at Homeland Security for a visa extension since Ameera is now hitched to a citizen. Congrats, Ameera's visa would be extended. Caveat? The INS was going to do periodic check-ins. Agent Dude then wondered why Ameera and Noah were shacking up at the farm. Holden explained that Noah had been living there (innocently and heterosexually) since Col. Homophobe went to jail, but Agent Dude wasn't quite buying it.
Maybe if Ameera had spoken up, he would have, but she remained silent throughout the whole thing. Later, Holden wisely told ALL the kids to keep their traps shut. Noah and Ameera wandered around Old Town arm-in-arm to look all straight and married. Noah and Luke had to run to class. Alone, they worried about keeping up the charade. Casey ran into Ameera at Java, who told him she got married to stay in the country. Casey boggled...even more when she said she was Mrs. Gay Noah. When he sat down for the scoop, Ameera begged him to leave, lest the nearby cop report them. Casey reassured her: It was just his police guard! Ameera tried to ease Casey's fear about Margo and Nevins. (Couldn't THEY have married?) As they were all adorable together, Noah caught them and freaked out about Ameera going out on a "date." Luke mirrored our "Whoa, dude, chill out" reaction here at Weekly/Digest home base. Ameera admitted she liked Casey and he was nice to her before going off to class. Luke warned Noah he was making things complicated.
Carly sat at Jack's bedside, talking to him about her mystery witness. Also doing a bedside vigil? Katie for Brad. She told him Gray's bubbly had been poisoned. "Are you doing the bedside vigil thing here?" Brad wondered groggily (literally two seconds after your recapper typed it). Bonnie interrupted the moment (of course) and Katie fled. She looked a little green...with envy. Carly told Jack to stay put and work on not dying and then got Parker (green with nausea) ready to go to his trial. Brad was sprung from the hospital, raring to go to the trial, too. It was the event du jour for Katie as well. Naturally, Holden caught Jack trying to go, too. Thing is, it wasn't a jury trial! It was a wee hearing. Carly testified, getting picked apart by the prosecutor. On Tom's cross examination, Carly fingered Kit, which didn't help the case. Jack then arrived to testify, urging Carly to go look for their witness. The judge wasn't pleased by all the shenanigans. As Carly tracked down the homeless woman, Jack got on the stand and talked about ignoring Parker's intuition. The prosecutor blew holes in that, of course. "Tell me the truth: I'm screwed, right?" said Parker as they adjourned for the day. Well, maybe not. Carly's witness ponied up a receipt putting Kit in Oakdale. Bonnie bonded with Tom before leaving with Brad.
Katie started to escort Jack back to the hospital as Carly burst in with her good news.
Tom was loathe to go to Parker's trial with Nevins on the loose. "I'm a big girl and I have a big gun," Margo cracked. Meanwhile, Casey beat himself up for his involvement. Margo was done "playing the blame game," and Tom told Casey to go about his normal day and show Gray he couldn't intimidate this family...with a police guard. At Al's, Margo deflected Katie's concerns about Nevins to talk about Katie's love life. She returned to Chez Hughes and got a package delivery. "I'll be there when you least expect it," said the note with a toy gun attached. Margo questioned the delivery boy, who said "some guy" paid him to drop it off. Gray, of course. Worried Margo called Casey to check on him. Casey soon arrived home, much to her relief.
