A disheartened Gwen and Will needed someone to testify that Sofie was willing to give her baby up or they were screwed. Alison nominated Aaron!
She hightailed it over to convince him to help... but to no avail. Meanwhile, Sofie's shady lawyer promised her she'd have Hallie back tonight. When Bonnie dropped by to take them to court, Team Munson was mighty bummed. In court, the judge decried Babs and Iris's meddling and Aaron (fresh from a heart-to-heart with Holden) magically arrived ´ la the Oakdale Transporter to testify. With the caveat that he felt bad for Sofie, he said Sofie had willingly given Hallie up and that Will and Gwen deserved to be her parents.
Sofie looked like he'd run over her puppy. He chased after her to apologize and she wasn't havin' it. At Chez Munson, tense Will and Gwen got a call from Barbara. Tense Sofie ignored a call from Aaron, who turned down Ali's olive branch offer of a mocha. Ouch.
Holden came home, finding Lily cooking, and he was in a celebratory mood.
Wary Lily was contemplating moving back to the house. She didn't want to take advantage of him (or maybe she *did*...wink wink!). Holden wanted to give them the ol' college try. Too bad skittish Lily ran off to help Carly.
Luke and Noah debated post-lecture coffee choices in Old Town and Noah dropped a folded up letter from Col. Homophobe. (Yup, he's baaaack!) At Java, Luke opened the letter and read it aloud for the class. "Everything I did, I did out of love," the murderous colonel opined. Needless to say, Noah wasn't moved. Luke wanted him to let go of the hate, which Noah took to mean Luke was *siding* with Col. Homophobe. Oy. Back at the ranch, er, the farm, Holden set up a candlelit dinner and Aaron arrived for Sofie advice. Good Daddy Holden told him to make sure *Hallie* isn't hurt. Lily magically arrived home via transporter to Holden's romantic set-up. Holden didn't want another secret to come between them, so Lily copped to Carly's crazy plan. "What would you do if it were Luke or Ethan?" she wondered. Speaking of Luke, now at the farm, he assured Noah, "No matter what, I'm going to be on your side." And they hugged. As they often do. Lily angsted over snitching on Carly to Jack and Holden told her about his talk with Aaron. Holden then took his own advice about not taking the easy way out. "I want to try again. I want to work at it," he admitted, asking Lily to stay on the farm. Aw! Back in the barn, Noah found his bag open and his letter missing. He and Luke interrupted Holden and Lily's hug to ask if the girls had gotten into Noah's stuff. Hmm....
In Milltown, Carly tried to boost pouty Parker's spirits as a grim Jack arrived. He told them Parker was being tried as an adult. "He's just a boy!" Carly gasped. "He only shot Sam because he was defending me!" Prison-bound Parker stormed off, depressed, and Carly interrupted the Holden-Lily reunion talk with an emergency phone call (Grr!). Carly wanted a favor: the use of Lucinda's jet so she could get Parker out of the country. (At least this time it's her son and not Simon!) Lily tried to talk sense to guilt-ridden Carly, who pleaded. Lily immediately called for the jet. Carly kept mum about her plans to Jack (as usual!) and then told Parker to pack. Parker wanted to stay and face things like a man, but agreed to his mom's stricken request. On the jet, he regretted not saying goodbye to his siblings. Of course, Jack arrived! (Yes, Lily called him.) "Skipping town, that's not an answer," Jack reasoned. "He'll be free, he'll be safe!" Carly declared, as Jack pointed out Parker would be ripped away from family and friends. The angsty duo went back and forth and tormented Parker interrupted, saying he wants to go home! There, Carly apologized for her trademark impulsiveness and Jack told her they had to stick together. "We are gonna get through this," he promised, holding her close.

Brad and Katie's flirting at OAKDALE NOW was quickly curtailed by Bonnie's arrival. Katie's Green Eyed Monster soon followed. At Al's, a distracted Henry was off his mark. When skeevy Gray arrived, Vienna asked Henry for the truth and he admitted he lost Al's in a poker game! Margo totally called Katie on her green eyes (much like your recapper) as Brad enjoyed Bonnie's company. Henry saw their reversal of fortune as a chance to go have adventures, but a devastated V said she was willing to do "anything" to save her puppy-diner-customer family. Henry was forced to tell Vienna Gray's
offer: they could keep the diner if she spent the night with him. "Why not?"
Vienna tearfully replied. "This is not happening," Henry told her, insisting their relationship meant more than a diner. Gray gave them one week to vacate the premises. Back at WOAK, Brad told Katie not to interrupt his outing with Bonnie and Katie admitted to Margo that, okay, it bothered her. Margo told her to suck it up and go for it. Henry refused to share Vienna with anyone and she said the one night would "mean nothing." When Brad and Bonnie arrived, Vienna told them about Gray's proposal. Bonnie implied Vienna had traded her body before and Vienna threw eggs and flour at her. (LOL!) Finding the boys unyielding, Vienna went to Katie for advice. She asked why American men are "such prudes." Henry, meanwhile, didn't want Gray reminding Vienna of the high life she'd left. "She loves being poor with you!" Brad assured. Katie, an authority on cheating, told Vienna accepting Gray's offer was cheating. But she admitted she herself hadn't been able to separate sex and romance. As they chatted, Vienna received a diamond necklace — yes, delivered to WOAK. (Stalker much, Gray?) "There's no way I'm giving this back!" she declared. Ironically, Brad assured Henry that Vienna "can't be bought."
Paul stalked Meg outside Java (seriously, he was lurking) to tell her that Craig had left town, but she wasn't havin' it. "We're going to run into each other at some point, Meg. It's a very small town," he pointed out, working the Paul Ryan puppy face and being so generally adorable she had a hard time resisting. Still, she soldiered on. Meanwhile, Paul called Emily with a proposition. He got in some potshots about her and Chris and she pointed out, "You got dumped, too." Meanwhile, Meg came home to a miraculously empty farm, found a red rose addressed to her, and muttered, "Damn you, Paul!" Paul offered Emily a sweet business deal with the Intruder and Meg rushed in to plunk the rose down. She told a bewildered Paul to leave her alone and Emily was mighty amused. When Meg returned to the farm, she found another rose with a note saying, "I knew you'd think it was from Paul." As for Paul...he found Craig!
Casey was twigged to see Matt getting a job at the Lakeview. Sofie, meanwhile, thanked a smitten Chris for testifying at her hearing. They went for a walk together. She told him her whole orphan-wah-birds-do-my-hair Disney heroine backstory. Back at the Lakeview, Matt offered to leave if his dealings were freaking Casey out. Of course, we all know he won't. Matt and Casey then ran into Ali. Casey turned down Ali asking him out, but then Matt asked her out. Back in the park, Chris found a random hat sales stand (very common in Oakdale!) and he and Sofie tried silly hats on. Of course, she randomly found the hat she had knit for Hallie there (!) and started sobbing all over him. She then spoke random Spanish to the hat stand lady and admitted Chris is "guapo" (that's "handsome"). Elsewhere, Matt promised an edgy Casey he wouldn't tell his folks they were prison buddies. They arrived home and found Margo preparing lunch and beaming cluelessly. Of course, shady Matt made a shady phone call. Now back in Old Town, Sofie thanked Chris for buying her gloves and raising her spirits — and she realized he spoke Spanish. "I'm glad you think I'm cute," he grinned. Naturally, Emily spied the sweet moment.

Carly woke from a nightmare about Sam, remembering the number of shots she
heard: one! She immediately rushed over to the Oakdale PD to ask Jack to help her prove Parker's innocence. They went back to Metro to walk through the crime and try and jog Carly's memory about that awful night. Jack was less than thrilled about playing the part of a rapist, though. (And who can blame him? It was creepy....) Carly was determined to do anything it took to clear her son and she and Jack wondered who fired the second shot. Of course, Kit arrived, fresh from burying Sam in Iowa. She wanted her share of Metro, now. Carly pointed out that they would get no cash from selling the club. Jack wondered why Kit was in a hurry to leave. Squirrelly Kit said she wanted to "start over someplace else." Jack's Spidey senses began to tingle when Kit didn't leave with Cowboy Jack and posed that Kit had shot Sam. They rushed back to the OPD to check the ME's report. One bullet had hit Sam's shoulder, the other Sam's heart. Maybe she'd fired the kill shot? The reports also noted Kit was in Chicago around the time of Sam's demise. They went back to Metro yet again to ponder when she'd come back to Oakdale. Jack's eyes fell on the dummy and he realized Cowboy Jack could help them!
A smug Craig traded potshots with Paul, blasting him for messing with Johnny. Twigged by all the rose deliveries from Craig, Meg confided in Holden, who wanted to call the police. Meg nipped that in the bud (hee!) and asked him to let it go. Holden refused. Paul tattled on Craig to Lucinda, noting Craig had some "secret plan" and was "more volatile." He wasn't kidding — Craig asked Margo for a warrant for Lucinda arrest. Back at the Lakeview, Lucinda remarked on Dr. Bob's renewed good health and he revealed his plans for Memorial. When Holden rushed over to press charges, he naturally ran into Craig with Margo. Threats were exchanged. Craig then kept trying to convince Margo that Lucinda brought Evan to Oakdale. "I will seek my justice elsewhere!" he swore, to Margo's chagrin. Worried Paul, meanwhile, ran over to warn Meg that she's in danger. Bob and Kim were concerned about Chris' reaction to his imminent demotion and Kim dreading them both going to work. She made "let's retire" noises and Dr. Bob wasn't interested. (Yes, long-time fans, they had a whole scene to themselves.)
Later, Lucinda assured Margo she wouldn't find anything if she dug into her connection to Evan. Back at the farm, Paul and Meg forgot to use their inside voices, yelling at each other as Craig strolled in to crow. Meg let him have it, too. Craig offered Meg one last rose and told her, earnestly, "I know when I'm not wanted." He wished her an "amazing life"
without Paul and then left. Craig then bid adieu to Lucinda, who wanted to know how he'd guessed her connection to Evan. Craig just smirked. "It was a good bet," he murmured. At the farm, Meg reiterated that she and Paul don't have a future. Paul remained, as usual, optimistic. Then, Holden arrived and assured his sis she wouldn't ever have to worry about Craig again. Still, Meg uttered those infamous words that always foretell doom: "I have a really bad feeling about this." Smirky Craig told Lucinda "you'll see" who his next victim is, and urged her not to miss him too much. "It's sure to be a real blast," he winked of his exit as Paul went to his car. Cue a key, cue an ignition, cue a giant BOOM!

Outside Paul's hospital room, Chris told Barbara that despite all the burns all over Paul's body, he wasn't as bad as people he'd seen in Darfur. (Way to be comforting, Doc!) Margo then told Babs that they were investigating this as an attempted homicide. "Get out there and arrest your brother Craig!" Barbara snarled. "What kind of proof do you want? A bomb receipt?" She even cited Craig doing the same thing to Steve Andropoulos 20 years ago and demoted marks for lack of creativity. (LOL.) Weary Margo flashed back on her brother smirking and put out an APB on Craig. On a plane to the Caymans, Craig took off his wedding ring and toasted himself with champagne. Meg rushed to the hospital. When she offered to make herself scarce, Babs herded her into the room to buck up her son. "Stay with me," Paul whispered to Meg. When Meg tried to pull back, Paul went into cardiac arrest. Barbara, who had pushed Meg in there in the first place, summarily told Meg to beat it. Later, a guilt-ridden Meg sneaked back in to see Paul. She brought him a memento from the cabin. Meanwhile, Barbara told Will about Paul's condition (as the least burned burn victim ever...) and said she'd seen Sofie lurking about. A torn Meg got some sound advice from Emma. Crowing Craig called Margo from the Caymans to ask if Paul was dead and was bummed to realize he wasn't. "I feel completely justified," he said. "Take care of yourself, Margo. I love you." He warned her she'd never be able to find him and closed his phone. (Bye, Scott Bryce!) Still keeping mum about her own health issues, Barbara hugged Will and went back to the hospital.
Sofie, who was at Memorial for an appointment, caught up with Chris. Barbara was none too happy to see her. Then Emily spotted the duo and she wasn't happy either. Emily introduced herself to Sofie and questioned her. (Guess she borrowed Katie's Green Eyed Monster.) Susan caught Emily both ogling Paul and Chris and invited her to lunch. Em took her up on it as Sofie told Chris she didn't want to be his charity case. At Al's, Susan got a "bad feeling" when Emily said she and Paul were partnering up. "How many times do you have to keep making the same mistakes?" Susan asked her. Despite Chris' interest, Sofie was much more intrigued by Will's burned bro. She sneaked into Paul's room to stare at him. When he caught her doing so, she told him her sob story. Lonely Paul asked her to stay and keep him company. Naturally, Emily walked by and saw this.
Back in Milltown, Jack suggested to Carly that they gaslight Kit with Cowboy Jack. But what if Kit had left town? No worries, Kit was chowing down at the Lakeview before her flight. Jack told Carly to stash Cowboy Jack, and to send their little felon, Parker, to school, so they could pull off their scheme. "Nice try," scoffed Parker. "I wanna know what you and Dad are up to." Prison-bound Parker didn't want to go back to school either, since the kids thought he was a "crazed killer." At the OPD, Jack asked Margo to keep Kit from leaving town. Back in Milltown, JJ and Sage urged Parker to school with them, assuring, "We've got your back." Aw! Meanwhile, Jack's plan to keep Kit in town via trumped up paperwork worked, and Carly then pretended to run into Kit in Old Town. She said a tapped-for-cash Kit could crash with her in Milltown. Kit warily took her up on the offer. At Java, Jack praised Parker for going to school that day and asked him to crash at the farm. No dummy, Parker wanted to know what he was planning. Carly offered to make Kit some of her "famous" burgers. What makes them famous? The pills she worked into the meat! "Every time she tries something like this, it ends up blowing up in her face," Parker prophetically told Jack, noting Dad must be desperate to be plotting with Carly. Kit praised Carly's cooking skills, feeling very relaxed. In fact, she needed a nap. As Jack got a signal call from Carly, Parker hoped they knew what they were doing. Jack rushed over to Milltown and pulled out Cowboy Jack. "Let's find out what happens when
Cowboy Jack riiiises from the deaaaad," Jack drawled.

At the Snyder farm, Lily and Holden began to make love, but she stopped. She
said she turned to Dusty when Holden was spending time with Bonnie. Meanwhile, a young woman wearing a hijab almost approached Noah at Java, but Luke interrupted. When Luke left, the woman approached, but fled when Noah spoke to her. Then she followed them to the farm. She is named Ameera, and knew Noah's father in Iraq; Col. Mayer loved her mother. Ameera said the colonel was like a father to her. Her mother is dead now, and Ameera fears for her life. Ameera claimed the colonel saved her life, and
sent her money after he left Iraq. Ameera's mother's family shunned her for
loving an American soldier, so Ameera fled to America. Noah was skeptical
until she showed him a photo of her with the colonel. Luke decided to get
permission for her to spend the night. By now Holden and Lily were dressed
and agreeing to be friends and build on that. Ameera asked Noah if Luke is
his cousin; Noah called him his "special friend."
Vienna received a diamond necklace and note from Gray inviting her for a
drink at the Lakeview bar. When Henry went to the diner, Vienna met Gray — to tell him she cannot have a drink with him. When he asked why she loves Henry, she sang his praises. Gray said he has more money than he can spend
— and wants to spend it on her. Vienna said she's "not a very materialistic person." In Old Town, Katie spotted Brad buying a dress for Bonnie, but wasn't interested in his story. He followed her to the studio and needled her about being jealous. He said he'd drop Bonnie for her, and asked if they have a chance. "We don't," she said. So he called Bonnie, (to Katie's
chagrin). Later, Brad met Bonnie at the Lakeview and presented her with the
dress. She kissed him in thanks. Then Brad spotted Vienna toasting champagne
with Gray. Bonnie advised Brad not to say anything, but he called Henry
anyway. Katie had run into Henry at Al's and remarked on his hang-dog
demeanor. He lamented losing the diner; Katie said you and Vienna have each
other. Then Brad called with word of Vienna and Gray. At the bar, Bonnie
insulted Vienna as a slut and dumped a drink on her. A catfight broke out,
which the boys tried to break it up; Henry arrived and punched out Gray.
Gray told Vienna he wanted to see her again, but Henry dragged her upstairs,
leaving Bonnie and Brad to do shots (while Katie watched). Upstairs, Vienna
insisted there were no strings attached to the diamonds, and she loves only
Henry. Later, Vienna creeped out of bed to take a call from Gray, who
insisted he doesn't want Al's: "I give you back the diner." She declined to
accept it.
Jack and Carly prepared Cowboy Jack and a video camera to gaslight Kit. Jack
hid behind a chair and imitated Cowboy Jack's voice. Kit was stunned and
confused. "Cowboy Jack" accused Kit of taking Sam away from him and demanded
to know why she shot Sam. "This ain't no dream," CJ snarled. Kit sobbed that
Sam was going to leave her for Carly. "You gotta confess to Cowboy Jack," CJ
said. She was just about to, when Jack's cell phone rang, breaking the
spell. Carly entered and convinced Kit she was sleepwalking or dreaming.
Fleeing outside, Jack realized it was a call from Katie. When he visited
her, she said she was worried about Parker; he said her call ruined his
chance to clear his son. Back home, Carly told Jack that Kit is leaving in
the morning. They embraced and resolved to clear Parker.
