Meg looked on from outside Al's as Dusty presented Bonnie with a bouquet of roses and helped himself to her pancakes. Damian caught her gaping and she assured him she didn't need to go somewhere else. Dusty looked all wistful as they came in but insisted to Bonnie that he was fine. Damian noted it was obvious Meg still had feelings for Dusty. As a friend, he urged her to talk to Dusty and figure things out. Bonnie headed for Metro, and Meg asked Dusty if they'd been "too hasty" breaking up. Derek dropped by the club to apologize to Bonnie for being out of line weeks earlier. Too bad Bonnie had to tell him that she and Dusty had kissed in the interim. Back at Al's, Meg and Dusty traded apologies and "I miss you"s and held hands. However, then Dusty's controlling nature and Meg not wanting him to be the boss of her came into play. Derek wondered what Bonnie kissing Dusty meant for them, and she had no answer. Meg and Dusty's tentative truce crumbled as they argued. Meg fled in a huff and then Dusty confronted Damian about getting Meg all "confused." Damian accused Dusty of suffocating her. After the tiff, Damian called up his contact to buy up a ton of WorldWide stock. Back at Metro, Derek wanted to move in together and Bonnie called him on only wanting that because Dusty was in the picture. The conversation ended in Derek walking out, furious. Later, Dusty asked Bonnie to go out and forget their troubles but she told him she'd rather stay home and clean the oven. Damian caught up with Meg at the farm. She thanked him for his kindness and sweetness.

At the Milltown house, Carly poured herself some coffee...and spiked it with vodka! Naturally, Craig dropped by — for business! He wanted to see her new designs. She distracted him with her womanly charms. "I hate being in Jack Snyder's bed," he grumbled, afterwards, feeling like Jack was going to jump out of the closet. "I can't do this anymore," he sighed. Wait, so what did he want? "Marry me," he said. "No!" she gasped, pointing out they'd tried before and failed. She couldn't put her kids through it again. Craig tried to convince Carly that marriage was a good idea. Her last argument was that she needed Rosanna's approval, so he urged her to get up and get dressed to get that out of the way. Back home after the Fairwinds visit, Craig was thrilled he and Carly were officially engaged. Carly went to get sparkling cider but chugged more booze first. After they toasted, Craig said he honestly believed they could be happy together. "And by the way...I love you, too," he added, kissing her and taking her back upstairs. Unfortunately, Carly didn't look nearly as happy as he did.

Paul came out from putting Eliza down for a nap and found Rosanna bawling on the couch. She loved seeing Paul with his daughter but it reminded her of what she'd lost. "It feels like I have nothing," she admitted. "Maybe we can change that," said Paul, suggesting they make a go of "playing house" together. Ro didn't want to get in the middle of his Eliza custody issues but Paul wanted her in his life. His heart had been through the shredder and all he wanted was friendship. He asked her to think about his offer. Then, Carly and Craig showed up, and Carly awkwardly broached the subject of her and Craig marrying. Rosanna, thunderstruck, tried to process the shock. "Do you love him?" she asked. "I need him," Carly said, which wasn't the same thing. "I do love you," she then turned and said to Craig. Ro said she wouldn't stand in their way. Then, Paul came in, and boggled at the news, blasting Carly for the foolish choice. Carly hugged Rosanna and left. Alone, Paul couldn't believe Ro was letting her sister marry a man who'd tried to kill her! Rosanna said she was moving on...which was why she can't live with Paul! After she explained her rationale, Paul offered to pay for her Lakeview suite until she was on her feet.
