James DePaiva was born October 8 in Livermore, CA. He’s a descendant of the 17th U.S. President, Andrew Johnson. The actress was born Katherine Virginia Wesley on March 21 in Morganfield, KY.
The former OLTL co-stars, who played scheming Blair Cramer and rakish Max Holden, wed on May 31, 1996. The duo shocked co-stars when they eloped to Kentucky.
On May 12, 1997, the DePaivas welcomed son, J.Q. (James Quentin.)
J.Q.was born deaf and hears due to cochlear implants. The DePaivas support The League for the Hard of Hearing. Here they are in 2013 at the Feast With Famous Faces, a culinary fundraiser. In 2007, J.Q. played Jason, a deaf character, on AMC.
