Destination: Corsica and Paris, France, and Sardinia, Italy
Length Of Vacay: 10 days
Who She Went With: Friends
Highlight Of The Trip: “I didn’t have to plan anything. I sort of tagged along with friends who already had plans. It was just, ‘Send the itinerary and I’ll show up!’ It was that kind of a trip.
They told me to meet them in Corsica on a Monday at 1 and I was there!”
Lowlight Of The Trip: “Not one thing. This was the smoothest trip I was ever on and there were even a lot of flights involved. I couldn’t believe how everything ran
like clockwork. I guess the downside is not having more time.”
“I don’t know why, but I didn’t take many pictures in Corsica. This first one was from the plane as we were coming in.”
“We did some wine tasting while we were in Sardinia and this is a really beautiful vineyard that we visited. I don’t know what sort of pose you’re supposed to do in a vineyard, so I decided to be silly.”
“We visited this lovely farm where they have this farm-to-table restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious!”
“We took a boat trip in Sardinia for the day so we could see the famous Emerald Coast. Our captain drove us around to all the best spots for swimming and just hanging out.”
“I’m trying to open a bottle of wine while we’re speedboating across the Mediterranean, so I was a little wobbly. Once I sat down, I managed to get that bottle right open!”
“It was early when we landed in Paris, so I went to this cute café to have my morning coffee. It’s such a typical thing to do in Paris because there are so many cafés and you just sit down at one whenever you want.”
“This is in the St. Germain area of Paris, where I was walking around with a friend. Rue de Buci is the name of the street, which has all these little outdoor cafés and shops. I’m standing right in front of Café de Paris, which is funny to me because I’ve gone to Café de Paris when I’m in Monte Carlo. It’s a giant-sized restaurant down there but I didn’t know that the original one is in Paris and I didn’t even realize I was standing in front of it until I saw this photo.”
