Man Crush Monday - Donnell Turner

In 2010, Turner had a recurring role on DAYS as Dr. Aiden Williams. He shared scenes with Kristian Alfonso (Hope), whom he described as “an angel."

The actor was a fan of the show growing up. “When I was a kid, we would stop playing war or football, or whatever and we would go in at 2 o’clock to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and watch Luke and Laura on GENERAL HOSPITAL.”

Donnell was a stand-in for actor Shemar Moore (ex-Malcolm, Y&R) on CRIMINAL MINDS.

Turner played basketball semiprofessionally as a point guard and competed on the Junior Olympics travel squad.

His brother, Ejay “Blunt” Turner, was in the R&B group D.R.S. which topped the Billboard charts with its 1993 smash, “Gangsta Lean”; Turner starred in the video for the song.
