Nadia Bjorlin was born August 2 in Newport, RI. The actress was born to a Swedish father and Persian mother. The family moved to her father's native country when she was an infant. She has five brothers and sisters. She's pictured here with her brother Ulf.
Bjorlin was just 19 when she joined DAYS. Last year she told Digest, "I was thinking about how I’ve been at DAYS almost half of my life. I used to be one of the kids around here, and now I’m one of the grown-ups. It’s funny to see early footage of when I started on DAYS. My voice was lighter and I looked like a baby. At that age, I thought I knew everything.”
When Nadia Bjorlin debuted on DAYS in 1999, unfashionable misfit Chloe Lane was bullied at school and given the nickname "Ghoul Girl." Patrika Darbo (Shirley, B&B) portrayed Chloe's mom, Nancy.
Bjorlin's father was a conductor and classical music composer. When the family moved to Florida, she attended junior high and high school at the Palm Beach County School of the Arts and sang with the Palm Beach Opera for two years. She has made numerous singing appearances including performing "God Bless America" at a 2009 game between the Philadelphia Phillies and Los Angeles Dodgers.
Nadia has filmed seven movies including the 2007 action movie Redline about drag racing. Bjorlin played the female lead. The cast included comedian Eddie Griffin.
The actress and Grant Turnbull tied the knot on May 15, 2015. The following May, they welcomed Torin Mathias. The couple is expecting another son this August.
