I would like to make a motion to table all future business meetings on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. Today made the need perfectly clear: Jill and Cane were discussing Jabot business when Lily — who is in contention to become the Face of Jabot — interrupted and was told to take a seat. While the poohbahs talked strategy for taking Jabot international, Lily and Cane made eyes at each other. Meanwhile, Katherine regaled Cane's ex, Amber, with tales about her past battles with Jill, including the time she literally wrestled over ownership of the Chancellor mansion. Why were there no flashbacks?! This was the perfect opportunity to fill in fans on pivotal show history. "Oh, the tales I could tell," Kay sighed. Please, show us! Spare viewers dull business talk! The Jabot chatter was obviously a transparent attempt to get Cane and Lily in the same room to moon over each other while keeping them apart. Forget spreadsheets, we want to see these two fabulous-looking people spread out on sheets. Making a show of talking business was keeping a couple from getting down to business — and then Cane shot Lily down due to their age difference. Motion denied.
