I have to say, Brandon Buddy (Cole) is kicking butt with his recent ONE LIFE TO LIVE material. Aside from a TV pilot and a music video, this is really Buddy's first gig, and it's been a joy watching him grow into his on-screen persona. When Cole witnessed his mother perish in a flaming van last week, Buddy channeled both a scared, vulnerable child and an angry, vengeful young man with equal dexterity. And today's scenes with Langston, who helped him hide from the law, reminded us of Cole's tender side and that brandishing a gun on someone is certainly out of his character.

Speaking of relative newcomers, bravo to BethAnn Bonner's Talia for giving Antonio a verbal smackdown. After realizing that Antonio knew about her feelings and let her continue to flirt and crush without offering a sign either way, Talia finally called him out on his crap. Hands on her hips, her long waves flailing, she sneered, "What about the time that you said that I looked hot or the time that I caught you here and you were all half dressed and you didn't bother to cover up!" Next time, Antonio, keep your pecs to yourself unless you plan to take some action.
