Between GUIDING LIGHT and AS THE WORLD TURNS, we faced a few leaps of logic. In Springfield, Cassie's party for Will reintroduced us to Ross and Blake's daughter Clarissa. MY how she's grown. How in the world did the wee little girl suddenly become that much older than Jude and James? Have they been feeding her whatever Rick and Mel fed their daughter, Leah? And why can't RJ benefit from the same growth hormone?

Jaunting over to Oakdale, we've been treated to some of the new exterior locations that PGP is implementing. I actually like them quite a bit. I adore outdoor shots and how naturally attractive the actors all look (Look Ma, it's not all makeup!). The problem? Those brick Brownstones and the park where Sofie and Cole had their little chat bear absolutely no resemblance to Old Town and the outside of Al's. When the editing took viewers back and forth from those places, the difference between natural daylight and fake daylight was glaring. I suppose it doesn't help that I couldn't shake the suspicion that they were mere blocks from their NYC studios...
