In an act of breathtaking cruelty, GUIDING LIGHT's Harley coldly demanded that asthmatic Griggs unlock her prison door before she would surrender his inhaler when he suffered an attack. As Griggs struggled for breath and waved a gun at her and Cyrus, detective Harley dangled the medication before her jailer. Stone cold! Then Cyrus stomped on the device, destroying it. A panicked Griggs fell off a ledge, leaving Cyrus and Harley trapped. Well, serves her right! Harley's hard heart seems to have developed in tandem with her hard head and deaf ears! Why was she chasing after Cyrus when she should have been at home, helping her daughter Daisy deal with the trauma of having an abortion that virtually everyone has blasted her for? Is she that blind to Daisy's pain? No wonder Daisy felt she couldn't turn to her mother (assuming she could find her). Harley has developed along some disturbing lines lately, and being deaf, dumb and blind to her family's plights is the worst change of all.
