It's no secret around the Weekly offices that I love DAYS OF OUR LIVES' Philip. More accurately, I love Jay Kenneth Johnson's brooding, intense portrayal of Philip. Plus, he evokes fond (much less brooding and intense) memories of the Last Blast dances and Phloe vs. Broe. It's fun to see him as the relationship spoiler this time around, when he and Chloe were the high school sweethearts that Brady came between all those years ago.

Except that it's not fun if you're a "Shelle" fan. And was it really necessary to have Philip and Belle get busy in the bed she shares with Shawn? Philip was just helping her put "hospital corners" on those rumpled sheets yesterday (five minutes ago in DAYS time). Even worse, they were in the Brady pub, with Hope and Shawn right downstairs. To borrow a popular phrase...dude, that’s just WRONG. If you're going to commit adultery, at least go to a seedy motel or take five seconds to put down fresh sheets.
