Just when I was getting the severe creepy vibes from THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS' trapped Jack and Sharon sharing a tender, snuggly talk about Noah's geography homework and how much they loved each other with Nick watching, Y&R backed up the Let's-Give-Mala-the-Wiggins train and broke my heart. I absolutely loved the nod to history when a somber Nick thanked Jack for turning him into the man he is today. Sure, it's still weird that Jack is married to his former stepson's wife (and a stepdad to his stepson's son...how’s that for confusing?), but I will forgive anything for a good historical shout-out. Then, Joshua Morrow finished the job on my lil ol' heart by ripping it out and dancing on it as Nicholas realized Noah was trapped in the garage. The way he ran for the rubble and struggled against the rescue workers holding him back put sweeps firmly in Y&R's hands for me... and it's not even November yet.
