Many snickers were to be had on today's soaps and I don't just mean Katie's adorable bunny on AS THE WORLD TURNS. GENERAL HOSPITAL tickled my funny bone — and struck gold — when they paired up two of Sonny's hapless and hilarious employees, Max and Diane. Derk Cheetwood has been playing lovable lug (and accomplished dancer) Max for years and it was great seeing him go toe-to-toe with GH's best find in a long time: Carolyn Hennesy. The one-liners were sharp, the drinks flowed. But nothing was more hysterical than when Max produced his old Metro Court passkey for a liaison of the non-Jason and Liz variety. The passionate duo adjourned upstairs for a romp that was all too quickly ended because of Max's loyalty to his beloved Mrs. C. But when a seductive Diane propped up her fantastic legs to tempt Max one last time, it hearkened back to a famous Mrs. R. Koo-koo-kachoo, Ms. Miller. These two recurring favorites need to graduate to contract status stat!
