So, I was on the verge of complaining that my favorite people from GH: NIGHT SHIFT didn't get a proper sendoff when they showed up en masse on GENERAL HOSPITAL Friday and Monday. For some, I'm sure it was annoying to have all these newbies running around. Yes, GH viewers know Kelly and Lainey, but who were the dude with the hair and the guy with the sleep aid addiction? And who was that weird nurse in the ER? Don't worry, NS viewers are actually right there with you on the last question . We've never seen Nadine before in our lives. But you know what I'm glad to see? More hospital! I saw more scenes taking place in GH in two episodes than I've seen in six months and that's a pretty sad commentary on a show named after said establishment. Pulling in all these doctors and nurses is an adjustment, is something jarring. But it's no different than the influx of mobsters and bodyguards and thugs that visit Port Charles every week and quickly become people to root for or root against. I hope viewers give Leo (with the hair), Andy (the addict), and the compelling attraction between Lainey and Cody a shot. To me, these people and these stories should've been on GH all along ... and the show is finally catching up!
