It would have been a whole lot easier to buy ALL MY CHILDREN's Greenlee's sob story that she would "never hurt" Spike if she hadn't just kidnapped him and crashed her car into a ravine. And, judging the way his car seat was ejected during the crash, she probably hadn't even bothered to buckle him in securely. What a relief to see that the reason Greenlee's pleas didn't fall on deaf ears (well, besides Spike's) is because Kendall is hatching a plan.

Meanwhile, there's the anti-Greens, Annie. Between her deaf dad, her dead mother and her crazy brother, the Annie Confessional Hour is begging for some deaf ears, too — ours! Annie and Emma are already a strong part of the PV community, tied to Ryan and Fusion. Why play on viewers' sympathies by channeling a Lifetime Moment of Truth movie? Melissa Claire Egan could've just sat this tale out while they imported Candace Cameron or Valerie Bertinelli.
