I am the first to admit that I was NOT a fan of DAYS OF OUR LIVES's attempt to pair Max and Stephanie, back when Shayna Rose was playing the role. It's not about Rose or the adorable Darin Brooks (Max), it just seemed really icky that Max would date his niece. Well, after Rose was axed, Brooks had precious little to do, which was just a waste of this up and comer. When Shelley Hennig was recast as Stephanie and she and Brooks began having scenes together, I found myself hoping that the show would revisit their relationship, because the actors have undeniable chemistry. I would think anyone who caught their scenes this week in the cave (after they parachuted from a jumbo jet, uh-huh) agrees with me. Though the Touch the Sky storyline is thankfully over, one good thing came out of it: Brooks and Hennig are great together and it looks like DAYS has finally found a young pair with a future. So what if they're related?
