GL's Grady (Kane Manera)

I know everyone and their absentee mother seems to have an opinion on GUIDING LIGHT's Grady this week, but just add me to the queue. I make no bones about being an incredibly shallow soap viewer at times, but the hotness and charisma of Kane Manera doesn't quite excuse the giant "WTH?!" going on with the writing for G. Let's break it down: He's Cyrus' very tall brother, he's incredibly sweet to Ashlee, and he's gentlemanly to Daisy...leading to the reveal that they "waited." Whoa, talk about working over time to whitewash this guy whacking Tammy with his car for money. What's next? He rescues kittens from trees and helps old ladies across the street? I know Rafe was Daisy's first, but if you expect me to think an older, shadier, guy like Gillespie/Grady/G-thang, who supplied her with drugs and helped her wreak havoc was content with holding hands and gazing at her soulfully (kind of like he's been doing this week...), then you've got another thing coming.

It doesn't help that when Springfield's last long-haired bad boy, Jonathan, was taking advantage of Tammy and then falling in love with her, they were roughly the same age. For some reason, watching Manera and Bonnie Dennison, I just can't shake the whole Chester the Molester vibe. Also with Jonathan, they reformed him over the course of a few years. This is redemption at hyperspeed! On the bright side, this is also the first time I've watched GL in months, so I hope G. sticks around!

With a face and body like that, Grady Foley can have anything he wants, in my opinion. I have never even dreamed of a guy this hot!! On my scale of a perfect '10,' he's a '50.' Maybe Daisy just can't see past his irresistable looks! I think he's really a sweetheart inside, just had a hard life and made some bad mistakes, like the rest of us. I just wish he'd grow his hair and beard back longer again. I even think he's cute in his 'Pebbles' hairdo!
