Belle and Philip's night in the hotel is about to get exposed when a spiteful Chloe lets the cat out of the bag. The action unfolds at the Salem High reunion. It's not just any reunion — there will be more than one blast from the past. Look for former Salem High teacher Mr. Woods and some other very familiar faces. Attention Chloe fans: she has returned to DAYS OF OUR LIVES!

OCTOBER 12
DAYS OF OUR LIVES's Max and Co. don't have to worry about felonious Jeremy (Trevor Donovan) any more. The hell-raising Horton left town on Wednesday, October 17. In unrelated troublemaker news, ONE LIFE TO LIVE's snooty Britney (Portia Reiners) won't be tormenting Starr much longer. She left for boarding school on the same day.

SEPTEMBER 26
As reported in Digest's 9/4 issue, Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe) is returning to DAYS OF OUR LIVES. She will first air in November. "We're thrilled to have her back," says Executive Producer Ken Corday. "She is an amazingly beautiful and talented woman." Not surprisingly, Chloe will be part of a storyline with Shawn, Belle and Philip. "She comes back with an edge," teases the exec. OCTOBER 24
Former DAYS starlet Farah Fath (ex-Mimi), who is joining ONE LIFE TO LIVE, finally has a character name: Gigi Morasco, but OLTL Executive Producer Frank Valentini will say little more. "[Her story] is going to be a total surprise," he teases. "Everybody's just going to have to tune in. She's a very exciting performer and I'm really looking forward to working with her." After spending the summer in her hometown of Lexington, KY, Fath reports to work in September and will start airing on October 24.

AUGUST 24

AUGUST 22
DAYS OF OUR LIVES's Executive Producer Ken Corday addresses the surprising behind-the-scenes shakeup that brought Edward Scott in as Co-Executive Producer in the new issue of Digest. "It was a tough decision, but in the end it was the right decision and will really infuse the show, not only with new life and inspiration, but will put somebody on the floor who is a leader and a proven one," he declares. "Ed's record precedes him: 20 years on the top of the Nielsens on the No. 1 show. He's won six Emmy awards out of 12 nominations, but most importantly, he gets it. He is an actors' producer. And it was time to reshape the look of the show and to have a visionary like him that could come in and lock step with me and with Hogan [Sheffer, head writer]. Need I say more?" AUGUST
Peter Reckell (Bo, DAYS), an avid cyclist, was injured while riding his bike and broke his collarbone. The actor had surgery and returned to the set. "It was immediately written as a motorcycle accident for Bo," says Co-Executive Producer Stephen Wyman. "Peter earned our gratitude and admiration by putting his pain aside and coming to work the next day after surgery, showing us what a trouper he is. The show must go on!"

AUGUST 3
It was announced August 3 at DAYS's Burbank studios that former Y&R Executive Producer Ed Scott will be joining the Salem ranks, replacing Co-Executive Producer Stephen Wyman. Y&R's casting director Marnie Saitta will replace Fran Bascom. Supervising Producer Roy Steinberg was also let go in the shakeup.

JULY 23

Kristian Alfonso (Hope, DAYS OF OUR LIVES) debuted her new clothing line, Hope by Kristian Alfonso, as well as several exclusive new pieces from her jewelry line, Hope Faith Miracles, on HSN on Monday, July 23 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. EST and on Tuesday, July 24 at 12 p.m.

MAY 24
James Reynolds had to undergo emergency heart valve replacement surgery on May 24 and is expected to miss six weeks of work. The family has set up a Web site (www.jrrecovery.com) so fans can track the actor's progress. On May 26, his wife, Lissa, wrote, "Jim has always been my hero but never more than now. His attitude through this whole unexpected turn of events has been amazing. He never expressed any worry for himself — only for me and [son] Jed — trying to get everything in order before going into surgery for a faulty heart valve, he was evidently born with.... There was not much time to prepare."
