Marcy Rylan grew up in rural Pennsylvania, where she pursued her first love — dance — from an early age. "My mom put me in ballet shoes as soon as I could stand up, and I started doing commercial and print modeling when I was in junior high," she recalled to Soap Opera Weekly.

Shortly after her high school graduation, Rylan moved to New York City to pursue acting. She completed a two-year acting program at the William Esper Studio while working at GUIDING LIGHT.

  1. Played the lead role of Winnie the cheerleader in the 2006 film BRING IT ON: ALL OR NOTHING. The movie also starred former Lizzie, Hayden Panettiere.
  2. Has two tattoos, a star on her foot and a heart on her wrist.
  3. Enjoys dancing, Pilates, yoga, horseback riding and hiking.
  4. Friends and family call her by her nickname Emme (pronounced "M"). She is only called Marcy at GUIDING LIGHT.
  5. Often mistaken for an Olsen twin.
