Lauralee Bell was born and raised in Chicago. The daughter of William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, Lauralee and her older brothers, Bill, Jr., and Bradley, moved to Los Angeles after her parents created Y&R, which first aired on CBS on March 26, 1973. Lauralee began her acting career as an extra on the show at age 9.
