Born into a family of doctors, Jordi Vilasuso is thrilled to be playing one now on AMC. After nabbing a Daytime Emmy as Outstanding Younger Actor for his GL work in 2003, he left the show to pursue work in film and prime time. But a positive first meeting with AMC EP Julie Hanan Carruthers and the prospect of reuniting with former co-star Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake; ex-Gus, GL) lured him back to daytime in 2010. In his spare time, Vilasuso practices yoga and is an avid techie.
