Jason Cook was born in Somerdale, NJ, and moved to California with his family at a young age. Early in his childhood he played piano, a hobby he continued for many years. His acting career began in high school when he was asked to replace the original lead in the drama club's production of Whodunnit. Later, Cook began working in television while he was a speech and debate major at Moorpark College.

  2. Used to play piano at weddings.
  3. Helped start an improv comedy troupe called Severe Head Drama.

  5. He won a Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Younger Lead Actor in 2001 and was nominated for both a Soap Opera Digest Award and a Special Fan Award in 2005.
