For THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS' Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren), home is where the surf is.

The actress enjoyed the hustle and bustle of city life, but she's had no trouble settling into the soothing vistas of the Malibu surf. "I was in the heart of Beverly Hills, and I mean the heart," Bregman recounts. "I may as well have lived in Manhattan. I loved the whole energy of it, but then it got so incredibly crowded and different. I always took vacations in Lake Tahoe, and it would take 24-48 hours to stop that adrenaline shake."

Bregman was so used to the pace that she worried the slower Malibu lifestyle would not do for her, but once she and the family moved into their newly renovated home, those reservations vanished in "half an hour," she quips. "Now that I look at the water from my house all the time, I'm not sure I could ever be in a place where I wasn't looking at it. It is so calming. There's this very open stretch, about five minutes away from where our house is, where you can see this entire coastline. It is magnificently gorgeous. The minute I get to that stretch, I know I'm a few minutes away from home. I just take a deep breath and [the stress of the day] is gone. I'm in a different mode."
