"We were there during the World Cup. We stayed in an area called St-Germain-des-Prés and it's kind of a younger, hipper area. There is bistro after bistro after bistro all along the streets and bar after bar after bar packed with people, because they had the TV in them. The bars were so packed that people were spilling out onto the streets, and they were sitting in the middle of the streets, trying to watch the television in the bar and a lot of the people had French flags on their back, wearing them like a super hero cape, and then a lot of people had the French flag painted on their face. During the day, they were driving their cars up and down the Champs Elysées, honking and yelling, 'Vive La France!' It was very festive, and I was very glad I was there for that."
