PASSIONS Interview

McKenzie Westmore (Sheridan, PASSIONS)
— John Paschal/JPI

PASSIONS Déjà Vu

— By Lori Latusek

McKenzie Westmore (Sheridan, 1999-present): "I watched the first five episodes. I have more on my TiVo that I have to watch. It's so weird. It brings back so many memories. It's so wild. I was, like, 20 years old at the time. It's so bizarre, just some of the differences you can see in some of the people physically and acting-wise; it's really funny."

Heidi Mueller (Kay, PASSIONS)
— NBC

Heidi Mueller (Kay, 2003-present): "I watched one episode and oh, my gosh, it is so weird! Everybody looks so different. I thought everybody did a good job. It's actually really good because I wasn't here and I didn't watch PASSIONS until I got on the show, so to watch and see what happened back then will give me more background on the character. To be able to see the relationship she had with her sister and mom and Miguel is good for me."

James Hyde (Sam, PASSIONS)
— John Paschal/JPI

James Hyde (Sam, 1999-present): "I've been watching with a cringe [laughs]. Everyone was so fresh and nobody knew who any characters were or their relationships. I look at myself and think, 'I can't believe I still have a job.' I stink now, but I stunk then like a pile of manure. I saw Lisa [de Cazotte, executive producer], and she asked if I've been watching. She said, 'You and Whitney have not aged a bit!' Whitney looks exactly the same! Brook [Kerr, Whit] has one of those hairstyles that are timeless. When Ben Masters [Julian] was first on the show, they tried to dye his hair. In the last three years, he's grown into this older-age look and he looks fantastic. It's so much better for him. I'd like to have the old Julian back and come down in diapers or something [laughs]. One thing watching these episodes does is bring back unbelievable memories. We were all thrown together and we were getting to know each other. You look back on those days and all of us thought that we'd be on for a year and then be off the air."
