PASSIONS' Future Supercouples?

— By Robert Schork

Harmony certainly lives up to its name: It's brimming with PASSIONS. However, on a soap where one day in Harmony time takes 30 days to play out in real time, there just aren't enough hours in the day to explore all the possible romantic permutations.

If we could play cupid in Harmony for a week, here are a six pairings we'd like to see given a try:

Sam and Pilar — Both of these upstanding citizens are moral pillars of the Harmony community. Each has been "rewarded" for their good deeds with wayward spouses who have hurt them and taken them for granted. Wouldn't it be nice if these two kissed their respective family problems goodbye and stepped out for a night on the town together?

Eric Martsolf (Ethan)
— NBC

Ethan and Sheridan — Before you say "Ewww," keep in mind that UN-like Chad and Whitney, these two really AREN'T related. The two of them have been good friends for years during the time they both believed they were aunt/nephew. And remember in the early years all of those scenes in which a half-naked Ethan would be coming out of the shower to find his "Aunt" Sheridan sitting on his bed so they could continue their long and deep conversations?

Tabitha and Alistair — Anyone who remembers how delightfully combustible Julian and Tabitha's pairing was that one fateful night, would certainly realize the possibilities if Julian's evil father shared a bed with Harmony's resident witch. Talk about a match made in Hell! With Alistair and Tabby united, the forces of darkness would seemingly know no bounds.

Chad and Liz — Let's face it — poor Chad has spent so much time with Whitney in heartache, we seriously wonder if the boy even remembers what it's like to live and love — and lust! We're not saying she's be the best influence on him, but then again, opposites DO attract...we think Liz could teach Chad how to loosen up a bit, while Chad might teach Liz a few lessons in love and respect.

Justin Hartley (Fox)
— NBC

Fox and Jessica — Rather than pair opposites, this time we're pairing two peas in a pod, sort of: wannabe bad-girl Jessica with semi-reformed bad-boy Fox. We see a brightly mischievous future in the cards for these two!

Kay and Father Lonigan — Yes, another "forbidden" romance — but what a classic case of opposites attracting: His wise counseling causes Kay to give up her witchy ways, while her free spiritedness gives Father Lonigan a new lease on his life. Unfortunately, he'd have to give up the church for her, but what's love without a little sacrifice, right?
