In order to take over her sister Pat's life, Maggie Ashley (Jacqueline Courtney) made herself over into the spitting image of her sibling. She imprisoned Pat and was set to kill her. Pat ended up shooting Maggie in self-defense, but she was so traumatized that she broke up with Clint. Pat eventually married Tony (Charles Lucia).

Viki (Erika Slezak) turned into her alter, Niki, when she learned that Tina was her half sister — the product of her father, Victor, and her friend, Irene. Niki seduced Harry O'Neill; when Mitch killed Harry, thinking he was Clint, she couldn't remember who had done it and Tina was accused. On the stand, Viki reverted to Niki and the truth came out. Viki has continued to turn into Niki when things get stressful for her.
