We caught up with Peter Bartlett (Nigel, ONE LIFE TO LIVE) when he was breathless. Because he had just taped a love scene? No. Gone for a jog around Central Park? Er, no. He had just come off a "snowmobike" in the Duracell Power Lodge in Times Square. The bike collected energy in in two huge batteries to light the 2009 sign at the ball drop.

Renee Elise Goldsberry (ex-Evangeline, OLTL) just wrapped up a run as Mimi in Broadway's RENT. The groundbreaking, Tony award-winning musical closed on Sept. 7. Pregnant at 16, Indianapolis native Ashley Wilkens found a loving family to adopt her baby, despite her own family's reservations. ONE LIFE TO LIVE's Starr is now seeking to do the same thing.
