The Palace Hotel
The Palace's restaurant is as much an experience as its owner, ex-Madame Renee Divine. The restaurant offers porterhouse steaks and seasonal fish with a side of betrayal and a generous serving of illicit affairs. Be sure to try the mimosas. They're the best — and sometimes the only — way to start the day. Be aware of two things: the elevator getting stuck and regular patron Asa Buchanan's temper.

Home of cheap draft beer, juicy burgers, and the pool table from Ben Davidson's old place, Crossroads, stop by here if you want to kick back and relax. The after-work hang-out for Llanview's law enforcement types, you can always catch a hunky cop and his lady love sharing a basket of fries. And Foxy Roxy's Roxanne Balsom can often be found trying to drum up customers for her salon with an impromptu floor show.

Kubla Khan's pleasure dome for the heartland, Xanadu is where good girls can feel free to go bad away from the prying eyes their boyfriends in blue. This exotic nightclub isn't for the faint-hearted. Put on your little black dress and your thigh-high boots and be prepared to party. Buying every single man in the bar a drink is not required but always appreciated.
